I bought the Sip and Share cards for both of my daughters who are in their late 20’s and embarking on serious relationships. They both loved the cards as did their sweethearts. It was a good way to get them to talk through some more serious topics and have fun at the same time. Everyone should get a set! I love your reviews. Like you usually say; marriage is a mirror! I think Binh was able to see his flaws/issues and decided to do something to address them by seeking therapy. Morgan only focused on how Binh wronged and betrayed her, and NEVER did any kind of self reflection, she will continue to have the same issues moving forward. And unfortunately the experts failed her by not encouraging her to look at herself and to see the role she too played in their marriage demise, she missed out on an opportunity to also grow from this experience. I'm just happy Binh will no longer be subjected to her. She came off cold and MEAN.

I LOVE everything you said about Mitch and Kristen. I was yelling the same thing you said when he mentioned the makeup thing. Dude, you would not even put on a T-shirt for a prank for a few hours because "that is not who I am and I would never wear that shirt, blah blah blah" but you are completely ok with you asking her to change herself for you!!! Why does he think that's ok to ask??? I was so freaking proud of her at the end of the episode for standing up for herself. She's my favorite wife this season by a looong shot.

My thoughts exactly with Binn and Morgan. I also feel that if Morgan can cut her own father off and not forgive him, she will do the same thing for anyone else. She has her own healing to do but she's only looking at Binn as the problem.

I feel so bad for Kristen! She deserves a lot more. And I totally agree with you when you say someone with such strong views should not have done this show. It's not fair for mitch to ask for so much from a stranger! It says a lot about him that he expected a stranger to be ok with his extreme views such as no buying plastic and no house flipping etc. He is very selfish in his approach and I'm glad Kristen is putting her foot down.

I loved it at the end when she flipped the script and questioned if he was right for HER. The look on his face, as if he never thought she had the power of choice. And insulted by the 'attracted enough'. She deserves to be desired and cherished. Despite his improvements, he is not right for HER, and I am glad she sees that. We Virgos will be maliable to a point, but when we have reached our limit, we are done. Good for her.

@@Eman14128 Yeah, makes sense that it was a deliberate move on his part. Add to that the repulsive eating plus the joking in the bedroom and it begins to look like he is intentionally sabotaging the marriage. Also, he says he expected a "hippie" to walk down the aisle yet there was nothing hippie about him groomed and dressed in a tux. Next he'll be saying a woman who bathes/showers is a turn off. You know, the smell of soap on her and all the water being wasted.

I was so happy to see Binh roll his eyes during Morgan talking and just thow his hands up like "she right, I'm not ready for this, I want a divorce". Man she irked me about not getting the right apology. I felt sorry for the shock look on Nate's face when Stacia admitting to cheating in a relationship in the past. It totally was not what he was expecting with her picking and insecure behavior, and I wish that they pulled that conversation out more that she always wants to go deep and below the surface and what to hear the L word soon from someone who she feels is not showing enough, when all along she was a cheater in the past and it was not about some guy hurting her. Then she wanted to flip it like "can I confide anything else in him if he is going to judge me for it" Girl please. Finally, yes Krysten popped and had her day. She is such a straight shooter. Loved how she told Dr. Pepper, don't try to fix it for Mitch by telling her that Mitch thinks she's attractive, let him say it; and Mitch is the one that owes the apology. I was cheering her on, and I do believe the authenticity of that conversation. But I have to say what bothered me of that whole scene what how production was cutting or shooting it. I felt that my eyes were playing tricks on me. Why is it that each time the camera went to her, the cover or towels were a different color? It kept switching from green to black. Did they do retakes for the different outbursts or were there different scene and they spliced it together for the better drama? Don't want to say that anything was staged, but her shots just seemed different. JMO

I think it’s the selection of couples. The conversations seem more substantive. There is dissension, but this season is not loud. Increasingly, I was this show agitating.

I wonder if Morgan told Alexis what Kristin said about Mitch secretly trying to get her to be more “natural.” I just think it’s odd that Alexis mentioned it to Mitch in front if everyone, which then made it a thing they had to address in front of the group. Alexis needs to worry about her own relationship issues.

I thought Franklin did a good job of breaking down the underlying issues related to Alexis wanting freedom and Justin’s resistance. I was not impressed, however, with his heavy focus on physical intimacy almost as the cure-all. He said their lack of intimacy reflected a power imbalance. Justin’s being da man in da bedroom is not likely to markedly change that dynamic in their relationship because of basic imbalances in other areas, e.g., communication styles, personal strengths and, importantly, emotional baggage IMO. The way Franklin delivered his advice would seem to enable Justin’s helpless or weak narrative. Why not have met with him privately or addressed his issues in a way that was more empowering. He asked Alexis to help him and it was she who said he hadn’t had time to speak himself into confidence’🫣. So, we had Franklin telling him how to be da man and Alexis helping him and speaking on his progress. He seemed like the hapless person in the middle who needed fixing. The focus on sex as making him da man would seem to foster a false sense of readiness to assume a take charge role as a responsible husband. I would love to know how the People’s Champ viewed this from a male’s perspective.

I really enjoy your weekly analysis of the MAFS couples even if I don't always agree with you. We saw Krysten telling Morgan what Mitch said to her sister so I assume either Morgan told Alexis or Krysten told Alexis. I wonder if Krysten prompted Alexis to ask Mitch the question so that she could address him in front of the group.

The cast doesn't randomly ask questions because that's what they want to know. Producers set up those questions to be asked. Nothing real about Reality TV.

@@janelle7263 That’s what MAFS does. Producers prompt them to ask questions. You know in the real world, no one is going to ask who consummated their marriage. So much is scripted. Dr. Pepper brought up the issue by asking if something happened when she knew something had happened because they were miked. Afterparty is filmed after the season is over, yet questions are asked and answered as though decisions have not been made. It’s entertainment🎭💯.

ITA. Thank God Binh and Morgan are done. Alexis doesn't want Justin. They bond over trash talking other people and being messy. They won't work. However, Alexis made me laugh out loud when she said Mitch wants a woman with dirty feet. I believe Production creates the Lindy and Miguel drama. Lindy may be emotionally immature but I believe they'll work. Production created the Stacia and Nate drama. I really like Nate and I believe they'll work. Krysten is rightfully tired of trying to please Mitch. Mitch reverted to OG Mitch this episode. Krysten's sister was awesome. I like most women, wear makeup and do my hair because it makes me feel good about my appearance. My boyfriend told me he loves my "natural look". He doesn't know my "natural look" involves a weekly hair appointment, foundation, mascara, blush and tinted lip gloss! lol. IMO Mitch has never been attracted to Krysten. I believe Mitch wanted companionship and sex. They won't work.

Hey Stephanie, I enjoyed your review of this episode which was a good one! I wonder how Binh and Morgan’s marriage would have gone had she not mentioned the nursing class. It was good to see Justin come to that realization, but I don’t think he and Alexis is going to make it! The way I yelled at Mitch through the TV! He pissed me off, like man you’re not all of that!! Bravo to Krysten!!!!

Hi Stephanie, thanks for posting early. Yes, I agree this episode was very entertaining. So happy Binh and Morgan decided to end this nightmare of a marriage. Morgan needs therapy to help with the anger. The exercise program is not enough. Justin and Alexis - Alexis was too focused on flirting with the new therapist. She’s not into Justin and will say NO on decision day.

It broke my heart when Binh said HE wasn't ready for marriage. I was like, "you would be fine if you weren't paired with a psycho like Morgan. Morgan is a classic narcissist. She started off wondering if Binh even had COVID. Morgan, a NURSE wondered if someone had COVID? Morgan wasn't worried or concerned with Binh's health. His illness was all about her. It's always about her, and BTW, no one really needed to see her license, but like I said, she'll all about herself. I hope I never see her on TV, EVER.

I am torn about the make up issue between Mitch and Krysten. Years ago, a friend, who was a natural make up artist, made up my face and I looked good, but different. My bf at the time said he liked it, but my other friends in the dorm (this was in college) said that I looked MUCH better with less make up. So my question is, was it wrong of Mitch because he's a man? Or was it wrong of Mitch because he really doesn't know Krysten that well? I see Krysten turning herself into a pretzel, trying to please Mitch and I didn't think it was healthy for her to do that. ETA: I think Stacia, Mitch and Morgan have the same problem, marriage is supposed to be a relationship where two people solve problems together without constantly worrying about being abandoned or ignored. (that's something I heard on KZbin, years ago).

I think the issue was tri-fold: 1. He used the time with her sister not to get to know her better, but to talk about getter her to change her appearance. 2. Mitch's initial reaction to Krysten was to reject her due to her looks. So, the issue is still there and Krystan doesnt want someone who doesnt love her for her. 3. Mitch's rigidity and means of expression may not be something Krysten wants.

I agree about Justin and Alexis. She said almost verbatim that she is so dominant at work that she wants to come home and not be that. Especially when it comes to sex. But Justin for whatever reason wants her to continue to be dominant right along with him and that's not what she wants. If he can't or won't give that to her, then leave her alone.

I think the primary issue with Justin and Alexis is really Justin. He seems so eager to please he will say he understands but really doesnt also he cant get it up to have sexual relations with her I think he wants to be with her but at the same time is intimidated by her unknowingly. I did like the way they were challenged By Devon Franklin. I think its clear that Krysten told the ladies what Mitch had said because all of their comments to him were slightly aggressive. To say he wants someone with dirty feet is juvenile. They were clearly taking up for Krysten. Honestly I didnt think it was that bad that he prefers her natural beauty, but he should have told her directly instead of telling her sister. I think its best they part Krysten will go stir crazy with him.

He’s very emotionally immature and hasn’t learned to cope well, so he cries or tries to manipulate and when those don’t work he curses and becomes verbally aggressive.Very immature and tiring. Franklin did a good job of clarifying issues underlying their argument about her going out, but I thought his heavy focus on them having sex to somehow equalize their power imbalance was a bridge too far given other unresolved issues. He seemed to be trying to empower Justin, but focusing on their physical relationship so publicly and then asking Alexis to help him seemed to further infantilize him. Sex won’t fix what’s wrong.

Nates constant smirk/quarter smile when he responds to any question makes him appear as a phony IMO. Its something about him I just dont trust he is being real. That's not to say he wont stay married to her, I mean Stacia is good looking , a go getter, she has money, class and style and they do get along so he may go along for the ride but deep inside he is not really in it. Can easily walk away if he needs to.

I need to go on this show to really represent for my Virgo sisters 😉. Kristen from the beginning minimized/ ignored that man telling her he's not attracted to her. Reminiscent of Paige's season (Virgo) no ma'am 😡. She denied him his opinion about her honeymoon without the groom decision and about her childhood hero. One week prior, she said her PARENTS were Hard on her especially her mom. Let a person show you who they are. Don't ignore it. Leads to 2 divorces.. ijs 🤣🤣

I was low key upset with Alexis spaying all that info, it just came out the wrong way because I don’t think Mitch said it that way. Now I am no fan of mitch but I did find myself feeling for Mitch in the situation because it was not brought up with care.

What is Lindy bringing to the table? She can't cook [ but she sure loves t eat! ] she can't be bothered taking care of a baby, she can't work full-time. She is lazy. What sort of a wife can she really be? If I was a man I would NOT want her for a wife. She gets inappropriately angry & cusses. She's way too giddy and silly. She talks too much. I don't like Miguel all that much either but he deserves better than Lindy!

I really don't think Nate likes Stacia. He's playing a role and may even say 'yes' on decision day. However, he will find what he needs outside the relationship if they do stay together. She is too insecure and too masculine to let Nate be himself. While I think she can do better than Nate, when she eventually finds her person she'll sabotage it bc she needs to fully recover from her daddy issues.
