I don't think Miguel should put Lindy on his Insurance until after decision day. He's gonna have to pay and added premium for her. Once she's on there he might be stuck paying the extra until open enrollment if they don't make. If she as Dr isn't making enough money to afford her own insurance is a red flag.

It’s a red flag to marry someone you met 2 weeks ago for entertainment purposes and then start demanding joint bank accounts, name changes, health insurance, next she’ll want her name on the deed to the house? Not only that it muddy the water for asset ownership if you do decide to divorce on decision day. Given the divorce rate of this show, they should wait at least a year before making any permanent decisions

I don’t understand the urgency for health insurance. What has she been doing before MAFS. It makes me question her intentions. I don’t think he should add her. If it doesn’t work out. It will take at least 6 months to file for divorce and a year to divorce. Miguel will have to keep her on his insurance. Only was to get her off is divorce or get a new job. Not mention she may ask to be kept on his insurance for a extra year if they get a divorce. Lindy is manipulative.

As a member of the health care community, I find it hard to believe she doesn’t prioritize her own medical needs. She has outstanding student loans and doesn’t want to work full time? Lindy should know how to articulate her concerns in a respectful manner since she is an educated woman. If production is encouraging her to behave this way, I have to side-eye them on wanting to present a toxic unhealthy marriage to the world. She should hold off on making any changes to her name for now and she can hyphenate when she's ready so she doesn't lose her maiden name. Miguel shouldn't add her to his insurance until after decision day and one year in the marriage. Their discussion was too disrespectful to go the distance without significant changes.

I can understand Lindy's desire for a flexible work schedule, but dang girl, be responsible and purchase yourself some health insurance. Per diem healthcare workers are paid more per hour than full-time salaried employees and in California she's making close to $50/hour. I think that's ample pay to find a health plan through the US government; it's called the Affordable Care Act. Additionally, it's too soon for Lindy and Miguel to be discussing insurance needs and name changes, but when the time comes, I recommend Lindy show a little more class when speaking to her new husband.

@@lolo_kay Since she’s only 27 she probably just came off of her parents insurance ( I think 26 is cut off) especially since she has graduate degree. Some universities also offer a reduced cost health insurance to grad students from the major insurer(s)

Obamacare ensures access to health insurance. Lindy should be adult enough to secure her own health insurance. I firmly believe she should not be putting that on him only two weeks into the marriage. It’s fine to transition over to his health insurance further in, but I just can’t believe she has been irresponsible enough to not secure such a fundamental aspect of her own well-being as a responsible adult. It gives immature and shortsighted for me. Miguel is wrong for putting the last name issue on her as well, but she started the issue by demanding her put her on his plan. They should BOTH back off and give each other more time.

Lindy isn’t a doctor she’s a physical therapist. And she works per diem meaning she’s not guaranteed hours and gets zero benefits or retirement because it was more important to her to remain irresponsible. She chose travelling above long term investment . She chose this she’s not denied healthcare she chose to live her entire adult life without it because she didn’t want to grow up. It would be very easy for her to get full time benefits etc but she doesn’t want responsibility or commitment and working full time or part time means commitment and she chose not to do that. So I’d behave exactly like Miguel because she’s chosen to behave like a child

I agree with everything you have written. We're not confused regarding health insurance. If you decide not to work full-time then you will be paying for your own insurance premium. It's easy to get a policy of your own but I guess it's easier to demand it from someone that chooses to work full-time.

I really love Stacia and Nate. Let's applaud him for grading himself a C+, because as a husband he is trying harder than all the others. What he's feeling about Stacia and motherhood is that she's not showing the warm nurturing woman who is ready to love on babies. I'm with Nate that planning a baby should be at least conceived in love, and NOT based on her ovary production. Stacia's not really loving him, so should he give in on this? It's too soon and she needs to slow down on the baby. Stacia take the win that Nate is committed to therapy and improving your marriage. Learn to appreciate and affirm your husband's effort. Stop dictating, managing and nagging. Get positive affirmations about your marriage and try saying yes more like Nate. I'm truly wishing them all the best..

I disagree with you regarding Lindy and Miguel. She has no right to curse at him and demand that he put her on his insurance, it’s been 14 days. That is not the way to ask to be added to your husband’s insurance. Lindy is 29 years old and should have her own insurance, period. She’s employable and can’t get her own insurance, to me that’s simply irresponsible. If I was Miguel I wouldn’t add her until after decision day anyway, if I was going to add her at all. After this episode, I’m not sure of Lindy’s motives for being on this show.

I think production has couples invite friends and family for the purpose of airing tough issues, which often means bringing up points of contention. In more recent seasons, the experts have almost abdicated the role of adviser or counselor to other couples. They appear to be encouraged to even discuss embarrassing details about their personal or sex life. In fact, the last 2 seasons, they seemed to provide assessments during the reunion which might better have helped couples earlier in the process.

Good review. Morgan now seems unforgiving but she seemed profoundly hurt. I thought at the time that Binh was effectively rejecting her. It seemed harsh. She was crying when she asked: ‘are you saying we weren’t well matched?’ And he basically said yes after having criticized her about her family structure, her financial situation and even questioned whether she was actually a nurse. He also asked a series of other rapid fire questions and his facial expression suggested she was not giving the answer he sought. Sometimes I think people can’t let go of hurt because deep down there is nowhere to go. She will never be the mother surrogate Binh seems to want and he seems unable to be the nurturing support she seems to need. His austere lifestyle and rigidity must also have hit hard with him trying to regulate her behavior. Sometimes one can forgive, but recognize something has been lost-perhaps their capacity for romance. Their problems are not helped by the pressure of having to work things out in the spotlight within a relatively short time frame. I could see Binh going along and still rejecting her. I think if they were theoretically able to move on, they would still fail practically because of their baggage and because they are incompatible on many levels including personal priorities, what they want in a marriage and life goals. I don’t think either was ready and I don’t see the merit of their trying to work on something that both know is DOA.

As far as Justin, it seems he has a child mentality much like Binh does. The maturity just isn't there for such a big commitment and responsibilty such as marriage.

Lindy:There is no excuse for not having health insurance. Employer health insurance isn’t the only available insurance. C’mon! Would she have health insurance if she wasn’t on the show? Was it important to her before she got on the show? And not only did she want his insurance, but she wants to be on his checking account. What about her wanting to be herself without his input on her lifestyle? Working when she wants without his input? What about those student loans? Whom is controlling whom? Lindy’s mood swings are troubling. She has many faces.

See everyone saw it as Miguel bartering but Lindy actually said why the F would I take your name if you can’t arrange for me to see a F-ing physician. He never held that over her head making Medical conditional, he was just uncomfortable w/ adding her period. You need to rewatch their segment she’s the manipulative one. She was gloating at the end when he conceded. Lindy only wants work per diem ( if/ when she wants) so extremely flexible w/ higher wage potential but no benefits. She’s young so there’s no reason why she can’t work at least part-time since there are no children, her priorities are skewed. I’m extremely shocked that you feel that him rewarding her F bomb rant by putting her on his medical insurance as them reconciling the issue vs her being clearly manipulation of Miguel whose known to be a pushover. An expectation that a stranger husband of 2-weeks is going to provide you “security” in the form of health insurance and access to his bank account ( under the guise of a joint acct) is unrealistic. Lindy is looking to be a kept woman!

Alexis over shares on her honeymoon she told everyone Justin was celibate now she is telling everyone at the party that Justin has wet dreams. If you have gone this long without insurance do not expect me after 2 weeks of knowing you to put you on my insurance. I would say lets discuss this after the 8 weeks. I don't like Lindy at all. But I do agree with her about the name change that is up to her when and if she wants to do it. Nate and Stasha party looked like the most fun. I would have went to their party. Krysten is my favorite female on the show. Mitch is right about the environment but he is so ridged it would be hard to live with him. Plus it looks like he has a hoarder issue and he is nasty after seeing his apt. I was in shock.

This episode I was team Miguel.. Nate & Binh. I wish we could have Binh without Morgan at this point. Lindy is bipolar.. and Stacia & Nate seem to be growing in the right direction. Mitch & Krysten on a 180 and it’s refreshing to see. As for Alexis & Justin I don’t think they will work.. they started off hot & heavy and it’s fizzling out quick.

I mostly agree. Nate and Stacia Polaroids looked so nice. I think they might make it and I had reservations about him coming into the season. I think Binh although too frugal is a nice, soft spoken guy and Morgan is just miserable and was a bully this episode. I think Mitch is too demanding, the nerve….the granola pouch….I don’t want it anymore! The stainless steel ramekins for Jell-O shots that I’m sure she paid for. He’s not being a total a$$ because Kryten is being totally accommodating and he’s got cooked meals and nookie on demand.

I’m extremely impressed how Krysten handles herself with Mitch. I’m surprised Stephanie has not been more complimentary of her extraordinary class, maturity and poise. I’ve never seen any contestant on this show handle the “ I’m not attracted to you situation” with quite that much grace, class and insight. I wish Gil was on this season paired with her.

I think all the couple need to slow down a little it has been such a short period of time let it have time instead of trying to force it now because a pace to fast we have seen it dye to soon because it was not something they wanted as it being what they think was expected this season I feel has potential but it must be wanted and not expected

Justin appears as if he might be somewhere on the spectrum. He appears to be a boy in a man’s body. His inability to respond to conversations and communications is sometimes very hard to watch. He does not understand, he emotes. Also, Justin has made several extremely juvenile “fart focus level” jokes and comments. The frightening thing is that maybe he simply cannot operate on the level required.
