No doubt they are doing something right, though id argue that s5 hasnt been great so far, the first 4 episodes were great, the last two, imo, not so much. I got curious after reading your first comment and I actually looked it up, they did lose some viewers in s4 compared to s3, but not nearly enough to be worried about the series. And according to your "you know why" reaction, im sorry to say I actually don't, I thought s3 was better than both s4a&b, but s4 was still good, good enough for viewers not to drop the show, I think they just didnt have time to watch it live ;).

This is only the beginning. This show is seriously one of the best. I love how once it really gets started, the show moves at a nice pace. There are none of those bullshit filler episodes. Conversations mean something and actions have consequences. Shit gets real !!!!! Looking forward to your reactions.

FYI, The crazy guy, Floki is the brother of the guy who plays Pennywise the Clown in the It movie.

yup id say the first 4 episodes are kind of slow but it was only the let you know who is who on the show . but from episode 4 season 1 to season 5 it becomes this awesome show . and you care about ragnar and co, i cant say enuff at how great this show has become

skål! Episode 4 is were season 1 really starts to get hot. The next 3 episode are perhaps the best in the season. As everyone keep telling you, each season just gets better... Ragnar had to take the blame since they had no witnesses and he didn't want Lagertha to die. Knut should've watched over Ragnar for Harald, but instead he sought to profit for himself as well. And the last scene, serves as your first, official. "Ragnar grin"... That is the looks that tell everyone, "Wraps your diapers tight. Ragnar is mad right now".

It's been awhile since I watched Season 1, so I forgot what's going on. Watching you guys' reaction will refresh my mind. So Jazz and I are on S4 and things are going downhill, not storywise but in terms of what's going on with the characters narration arc. I can't even compartmentalize every event that took place because it's just amalgamation of a lot of crap that went down. I can compartmentalize events in GOT and we are talking about GOT but I can't with this show. And Lagertha is my warrior princess
