Hello beautiful people 👋 I’m getting a bit personal in today’s video to share with you a good mistake I’ve made. This good mistake I’ve made was marrying my husband. It’s definitely a gasper =) I never thought I’d get married, to be completely honest. It’s not that I don’t have faith in marriage; I just didn’t have faith in my situation to be married. Is marriage worth it? I don’t know. Maybe that’s a topic for a future video. Either way, I’m already married, so I can’t take it back xD Well I can, but I’m not going to… yet?

I’m wondering if the key to a strong long lasting marriage is marrying your best friend? But then how do two best friends move from the “friend zone” for however long you both have been friends to a romantic relationship? That’s got to be really awkward at first. I ask because I’ve never been friends first with any of my past relationships, but all of those relationships crashed and burned, and never reached the marriage stage.

I don't think so. Some people can just have that connection straight away. You actually helped me realize that I didn't marry my best friend. I married someone who _became_ my best friend. He and I talked every day for a week straight before I started developing super strong feelings for him. The fact that he made me feel like I could be myself for the 1st time in my life when it came to talking to someone online was a feeling I couldn't ignore. I think if you had a best friend who does the same for you, then the romantic feelings could definitely manifest. I think a lot of people wonder what you wonder, that how can you take it to the next step without ruining the relationship you built together in the first place, as friends? I'm an advocate for sharing your feelings no matter what. Regret afterward because you never know. If you have such a good connection with this person, then why not try for something? The worst thing that can happen is things are awkward for a while. Your relationship should be strong enough that you'd rather remain friends than lose each other. Yeah, sometimes you do lose each other. But you honored your feelings and went with your gut. It's not to say you'll never find someone else who'll be that person for you, best friend or not. But at least going forward, you'll have the courage to not silence how you truly feel about someone. If that person is at all worth it, then you'd risk everything. So not every strong relationship starts with a friendship. It's all about the connection. And let's face it: not all marriages work out. You two could be "made for each other," but things just happen. That's life. It's about experiences! Hm, you really had me thinking a lot today lol Good to hear from you, Jason!
