Restless mind and racing thoughts all the way. They are often aggressive thoughts too, like the need to pursue an activity or goal in a positive manner. I have a Virgo Mercury and a Taurus Mars so I definitely think the Earth levels me out but makes me more stubborn and nitpicky about how I communicate my desires and thought processes. I used to use satire and sharp witty come-backs as a defensive mechanism when threatened or triggered but have gotten better at that. I'm extremely competitive once I go there, but it takes a lot to get me there. Impatient AF and determined. Spot on. Thank you.

You just described my brother. He has 1° Mercury/Mars conjunction in 3rd house in Gemini! His Sun and Venus are also in Gemini. And he is the most Mercuric person I've ever known :D His Mercury/Mars conjuncion makes him totaly nervous and fidgety. He is great debater and fun, able to talk about abstract theories, music, space and like almost everything you can think of (wikipedia and information freak), but you really do not want to argue with him. It's like he gets so focused on the winning that it is not a debate anymore. He'll beat you up with logic and reason, but not every situation can be dealt with logic. And he always gets to be the "winner of an argument" at the end :D

Nice video and I actually like when people use gestures when talking as soon as they do it naturally. it feels odd when people are too still especially in talking head videos. as far as Mercury conjunct Mars goes such people are quite excitable and at times one might think they are aggressive when they are just passionate about something and inspured. it also depends which culture you grew up in... The challenge is to find ways to balance the fast sharp mind and to be patient, to become a good listener as well especially with some type of people who are less straight to the point and neither are relaxed but more of theatrical type of interlocutor when the conversation becomes less equal. I have this placement together with Venus & the Sun (mercury, venus, mars,& sun in Capricorn), and I think it's true! Hi Lada.....Thanks for the video it was great!....I have to comment because I have this conjunction in the 9th house along with Uranus. I will say this people do not challenge me, I do not smoke but I exercise like a gladiator....(when a smoker picks up a cigarette I do a few reps of exercise).....helps to keep me calm. Everything you say in this video is true, but I have learned that my communication is so direct to the point and very honest I make it a point with myself not to speak much unless I feel it is important and needs to be said, those around me know if they want real open truth I will give it.....people don't really like the truth (alienation). just check on my planetary aspect table--you will see the value there: the highest points of a full aspect are 60 possible. Anything above 40 points is really strong aspect

+rowd runar The trine is act somewhat differently than the conjunction. The trine comes more smoothly and gently across. The conjunction is more intense and because Mars is a harsher planet, the person can display some of the not so savoury behaviours of the conjunction, plus some of the positive too. With the trine usually mostly the positive ones are displayed

Thank you Lada! I was thinking a lot about this combination in my chart... I have Mars Mercury at exact conjunction within a degree (Mer 19"0'55r, Mar 19"22'14 of Capricorn. Sun is also in Capricorn at 8"11'27). However since Mercury is retrograde it changes things quite. I do have a chronic difficulty falling asleep. I am sometimes sharp with words, but most of the time the mental activity is internal, I don't talk much, and sometimes can't find right words to say, or need a lot of time to come up with the right things to say. Same goes for writing. I do like martial arts and have been practicing for years, although the soft kind - Tai Chi. I feel it's true that my Mars energy is somewhat muffled, in terms of physical energy, and maybe the mental channel is also being obstructed by Mars although it's hard to tell what is due to Mars, and what is due to Mercury retrograde, and what is due to other aspects.

I keep thinking about more things you said... about friends: I don't argue with my friends a lot, but there is that feeling or angry thoughts regarding them often, feeling like they don't really care about me or are not really good and loyal friends to me... however, I wouldn't say this and I will always try to be a good friend to them nonetheless. I guess it's just an issue of trust. Well, I think this may also be due to the fact that I have the Moon opposing this shenanigan at 10 degrees Cancer! Hello Rajat, the negative thinking comes from the Saturn aspect to Mercury. Saturn mellows with age, so after 30 onwards you will be able to better manage these qualities. You need to do a lot of work with your thoughts and to learn to structure them in such a way which is not harmful to you or others, it comes with experience usually. Maybe it is good for you to write a list of positive things in your day and life, every night or morning

I have mercury in Virgo and my mars in Sagittarius and when I am provoked it’s not cute at all. I do have mercury with Saturn and Venus. So I am conscious. Just please don’t make me angry. I have Mars(in 27deg) trine Mercury(2.02) and Sun(scorp,28) in my chart. But I dont really think i am so out of control with my words and aggression. Maybe because my mars is in cancer.( Although merc is in Sagg). Also maybe because i have mercury sextile my moon in libra. Libra is the sign of diplomacy. According to my chart I would make a great spy. But I am an artist instead! I relate to the bits about restless mind and especially with studying. Very often when people offend me I think of very witty things that i never say because it is surely too rude and I would hate to do that to anyone. Probably the retrogades effect in that case.

HI Did you check the table of the planetary aspects. The aspects I talk about are different than the western aspects. Check if Mercury aspects Mars to more than 40-45 points, then it is a strong aspect
