The trick is to hold the outside handles. Left hand does the D-pad, L button and analogue stick. Right hand does the Z button, as well as the A, B, C^v and R buttons. Source: This is genuinely how I hold that controller, and have done since I was a kid.

OriginalPiMan I don't think I've played a single N64 game that required both the joystick and the Dpad at the same time. There's no sense in stretching your thumb over.

mrshmuga9 There was a small number of games that had a function for the d-pad and/or the L button when movement was done with the stick, including both Zelda games. But that's not _really_ why I held it that way. I held it that way because it was more comfortable for me; I found holding the middle prong left my hand squished by the left prong.

As seen by this episode and the 2nd episode, I think this show is definitely the best when the panalysts are allowed to provide their own answers. It's not to say that I dislike Kathleen's options, but just the sheer absurdity of dogs being named Boutros Boutros, or all birthdays being celebrated with Mars Bringer of war is something wonderful that's difficult to achieve in a more limited format.

I would actually go Ian's route and make a power plant from fire nipples. They go off when too cold OR too hot, so the heat they generate will keep them going.
