This is so interesting. I had a dream a few days ago that I went outside and saw my cat's head and a limb of what looked like a wolf. I took it as a warning for birds of prey or other predators outside so I've kept her in for a few days. The next day I first heard of the Algol with the head chopped off. Interesting that Algol is a cluster of three stars, and the gorgons were three sisters: Medusa, Stheno, and Euryale. It annoys me that the male perspective of these myths is the loudest voice, when actually Medusa was trying to prevent an enforced marriage, as well as being a victim of SA herself, and her vengeful petrifying powers only came into being once she had been murdered. As such I think that Algol could work in favour of women who have been subjected to abuse. Bizarrely in my own recent circumstances, a hostile neighbour who has been making my life hell for nearly four years suddenly left the country today, never to return. I love this comment. In fact, I firmly believe that Medusa has been misrepresented. The serpent's symbology around the head represents incredible wisdom which might be why she was villified. Most strong female figures have been villified in "his-story" and in mythology.

@@TealJadeTurquoise1 The serpent has always been symbolic of divine feminine wisdom, going back to the Garden of Eden and earlier! Serpents and dragons = intuitive yin feminine. Eagles = aggressive yang masculine.

@@Crazybaby2409 Yes. I know. What I find odd is that no one ever mentions that aspect when it comes to Medusa. I read that the Cosmic Divine Mother carried her serpent during a time before liaisons with men ever occurred with females (I am supposing).

Interesting, I have exactly that, too, it’s sitting on my Sun/Saturn conjunction as well (just into 7th house Placidus), with a 3 degree orb sextile my moon (hope that’ll smooth it a bit) and in a 2 degree orb opposite my ascendant 🙈 wishing you luck (and myself, too)
