Mars Desert Research Station - Hanksville Ut. May 2017

This short ride takes us to the Mars Desert Research Station, 7 miles from Hanksville Ut. A training area for future visits to Mars. We see more of Utah's unique landscape. Ok for most cars.

The road is actually rougher than the one to Skyline View Overlook

Not much but these roads change with the weather, erosion etc. but wasn't bad on this trip.

Do you remember how long you have to drive on Cow Dung Road?

It's around 3 miles from Highway 24 and took about 30 minutes.

Be aware that the Mars Society project is private property and an unauthorized drone flight can be shot down if you are invading their airspace and being a nuisance.
