Cherish the time you have with them, the sheer joy and happiness they bring you far out weighs all the poopie diapers you'll change. 🤢 Before you know it they will be dressing funny, listening to weird music, eating all your food and have their hand out asking for money. I should know, my wife and I just got our daughter grown and out of the house, now all of a sudden we are helping to raise our grandchild. 🙄 Despite the sleepless nights and endless diapers we wouldn't change a thing. I understand about finding the time, your subscribers will understand, post when your able. I look forward to seeing more of your builds/videos. Best of luck to you!!

I'm loving this already! It's an interresting world idea you've made that I can see can be made very unique. I see lots of insipration/similarities with Boylei Hobby Time. Thats the vibe, editing, techniques and also the world itself. My only remark I think you should keep in mind is, this world idea seems VERY similar to Boylei's Wild West series. I don't think you should stop and make something else at all, cause I can definetly see this going in it's own direction where you create something very new and exciting. Keep up the great work! :)

Thanks for the comment, Boylei is a big source of inspiration. That being said, I'm not trying to copy his idea. I'm learning as I go and most of that knowledge comes from youtube. Branching out to different ideas will be a natural course as this moves along.

Not bad, not bad at all. I would have added more obvious instruments that we use for atmospheric conditions, like a weather vane with a propeller on it for wind speed and the hydrometer, another spinner with cups to catch the wind, etc. just because I'm a geek and attention to detil is kinda my thing, and many of these things are fairly easy to make with leftovers from other kits, an exacto blade and a lit candle. I would also invest in some guitar strings, the metal ones, as they can be bent, and they look great as conduit or antennae or even piping in smaller scales, there is a wide variety of materials you can use for modelling that work fantastic in scale modelling. I would spend some time looking at other youtube modellers to get some ideas as they show what they use and offer fantastic hints and tips! But all in all your model looks great, I look forward to seeing you put out more models and dioramas and seeing your creativity turn you into a master of the art. we all have a master modeller inside of us waiting to be unleashed, show the world what you can do Xylo! And count me in!

I really enjoyed your thought process on the weathering passes. A lot to keep in mind and use in the future. The one thing I thought of might have been to salvage the working electronics from a solar light to add light to your project. Anyway, thanks for the video!

This turned out pretty awesome. The kit bashing was way more than I could accomplish. You may have heard it a lot but, The only thing I can offer is maybe thin your paints a little more to help preserve those textures you worked hard for. And thin your washes even more so that the high spots show through. This looks awesome though, man. I can't wait to see the next one. :)

@@XyloMakes of course! After finishing the video I think my only piece of advice is maybe try to find a way to water your wash down a little bit, it seemed just a little too thick, but really it didn't affect anything poorly and it still looked great!

Nice job! My only recommendation as a fellow maker would be to add some more variety of colors, like on the Astro pioneers to help them stand out amidst all the earthy and darker tones, also perhaps a littler foliage would be nice, besides that, hats off to you, it looks good!
