My lagna lord Mars is retrograde in 3rd house Gemini. You re very right here. I have been studying for competitive exam UPSC. Ive been a very good student since childhood. But i never felt confident. Even if I qualify exams, or get some ranks i never feel confident,never appreciate myself. There is always this self doubt. And now i have been studying for UPSC but now because of failure (thrice) I’m now rethinking, kind of quitting now ,, thinking i wont ever be able to do it. You were right about aggression & feelings. But this self doubt, repetition of actions, being persistent & resilient is now getting tougher & tougher. This aspect of mars retrograde is the most annoying one. :((

Finally I found U who gave such a valuable interpretation as I always thought it signified weakness as I suppress my anger...I held back my anger for 40 yrs & then exploded like a volcano causing a lot of destruction...so I clammed up again..I hv difficulty expressing anger & tend to avoid confrontations...as my feelings r intense...I hv experienced jealousy frm women & power struggles with men...
