lots of impactful retro in my chart... lagna and moon lord mars, jupiter, mercury. always confused af about what i should be doing in terms of like purpose and dharma and whatnot, but on the plus side this upcoming jupiter retro is going to go over my atmakaraka 3 times and in trine to my natal jupiter so hopefully something will be revealed to me.

This means,give whatever you can in order to pay the karmic debt, dependent of the sign and house that you have it retrograde,this is the area to help and give. Vargottama means displaying uniform properties through various parts of individual's layers of existence. Thus it is easier to judge, there is nothing like exaltation etc. Although a Stationary Jupiter is very strong and beneficial in itself it doesn't need to be vargottama.

Jhora gives speed of planets also. Accordingly the situation of planet can be interpreted. Going retrograde also at one point the planet acquires maximum speed then slows down then 0 then goes direct again. But in order to interpret the effect of state of planet you have to have good knowledge of fundamentals.
