Great video ken and Chris on trapping beaver 🦫, to bad ken didn’t get a old blanket beaver 🦫. Tell ken use a carrot 🥕 or potato 🥔 for beaver 🦫 bait work in the 709 . Peel the potatoes to bright white buddy. 😊

Beautiful young black beaver 🦫, taste like chicken 🐓. Them young beaver 🦫 are always wet hard to keep it dry if no white gold around . 😊 one hand on a bird worst them two hand in the bush . 😊😊

@@outofthewoodyard One guy says his is rock hard maple. Kind of looking at making some. Wanting to use the longest lasting wood. Made some wood stuff that didn't hardly last a year cause of rot.

Will the coyotes bust the ice and take the trapped beavers? I never had any issues with them back in the day but there also wasnt near the coyotes then either. The amount of runs and air bubbles sure didnt add up to the amount caught. There has to be more beavers in there yet! Thanks for bringing us along and sorry about the wet foot, Kenny. I have completely ruined 2 pairs of wadders in the first week of using them. Debris under the water just fileted them right open and it makes a feller sick at his stomach mad!😢😡

We will catch a bunch more coming soon, just keep watching. The only real problems we have is bears and wolves in the spring getting a beaver is it is in shallow water.

We normally do always wear waders. On the ice they are not always needed, but yes ...you will see waders on future videos or you can see them on other videos on the channel.
