I totally agree with your reaction and comment. Actually, Marsha just recovered from COVID-19 illness. She was struggling from not to cough at her performance. Thats why, there's something holding her voice. After the performance she cried on the backstage hoping she has not done nothing wrong at her performance. But still won the best performance and 2nd place in overall.

And she said that, her performance in AJL 36 is not her best performance since she's recovering from C19. Imagine if she was in her best condition. But still her performance was very impressive. Marsha Milan started her career from Malaysia reality TV show in 2005 called Akademi Fantasia season 3 and after that maintaining her career in singing/acting in Malaysia. Finally after 16 years, she succeed entering Final of AJL 36 (Anugerah Juara Lagu/ Song Champion Award season 36) competing with other 11 contestants. Her song title CINTA means LOVE. PENYANYI means SINGER. Composer/Lyrics by Bunga Cantik (or Stacy Anam) and Hang Nadim (or Akim Ahmad). They both are married couple and also singers in Malaysia and friends to Marsha. Marsha won for Best Performance and 2nd place in AJL 36. Both Stacy & Akim also got the same award as they are composers of the song since Marsha won for 2nd place.

Good observation. Her voice was a little bit strained that hight. She just recovered from Covid-19 and were coughing the whole time, but it's amazing how she could get through this and won several awards. Great singer, great fighter i must say. By the way, the orchestra backing all the contestants performances consists of 70 musicians conducted by one of the nation's most experienced maestros.

Actually, she is still in the process of covid healing this week (while singing in the AJL36 competition) & at that time she had to restrain herself from coughing during the singing .. in fact, this is the second time she was infected with covid that she has just recovered this week but has not recovered completely (her body was still sore especially the cough which greatly affected her while singing at that time but she just need to sing it since AJL is the biggest professional singing competition in Malaysia, it is like ‘the most dream ever’ for any singer in Malaysia & specially for her 16 years involvement in the industry & as she repeated all over in many interviews this is actually one of her bucket list that she want to achieve in her career & she did it with a pride).. GOOD JOB MARSHA, we proud of you!

U are right at some point.. She is struggling cuz she just recovered covid days before the performance her doctor advise her to not sing but she did it anyway it was her dream to sing at AJL.. She was struggling not to cough throughout the performance she feel like she wanna cough right before the performance and that morning she lost her voice so she performing that night wss already a miracle.. I have to admit her rehearsals are better have wayy less vocal mistakes but thats it we dont get to choose thats just the way it is she herself was really dissapointed didnt get to really prepare cuz of quarantine and really just relied on God's mercy to carry her throughout the performance cuz out of all the rehearsals, that night her voice acted the worst so nothing she can do

Yes. She indeed got some proplem on her voice while performing because she just recovered from covid19 infection. She was trying and struggling not to cough while performing. But anyhow she still did a very good job and bring back best performance award and 1st runner up. She maybe can do better if she was not sick. The Music Arrangements for this song in this AJL FINAL is new arrangement by Msian famous Musician 'Genervie Kam' one famous Msian singers wife 'Hazama' and the Orchistera you love was conducted by one of the BEST Music Director in Malaysia named Ramli MS. Fun fact, bunga cantik and hang Nadim is a married couple and Marsha Milan, Bunga Cantik or her real name Stacy and Hang Nadim which is Akim Ahmad come from one series of singing survival show which is Akademi Fantasia and all of them got into final. Thanks for the reaction. AJL is singing competition for song composition, the lyrics & interpretation by the performer. This song is her own song but for some reason there were time when the original singer don't perform their songs but replace with other singer for example during the same stage of AJL36, Erni Zakri can't performed her own song & replaced by her husband Syamel due to confinement of post-birth Btw, Penyanyi is singer 😊 and 'C' in Malay sound like 'CH'.
