Marshadow definitely has a lot going for it. First, it's typing. Fighting/Ghost is definitely a really cool type with 4 weakness and two type immunities. Second, it's stats make it the second best ghost type pokemon behind Gengar. It packs a whopping 125 base physical attack and speed, making it the most powerful of ghost types and make a for a decently fast physical attacker.

Yea marshadow is good. But lets be fair.... its due to stealth rocks AND the fact that half of the opponents team was weak againt the rocks or Marshadows typing that made the win. If stealth rock wasn't set up and the opponents team had more flying type pokemon, Marshadow would probally faint in 2 or more turns.

ik its 3 years but hears a good set for marshadow: Marshadow @ Focus sash Ability: Technician Nature: Jolly (+Spe,-Spa) EV: Attack 252/ Speed 252/ 4 HP Moves: Spectral thief Shadow sneak Drain Punch Swagger Usage: Honestly Marshadow is very unique. It can be used to stop a sweep easily and it can also use the opponents stats to sweep. If someone is stacking up stat boost moves like dragon dance or swords dance it could be very useful. The reason it has a focus sash is because if ur getting sweeped you can send out marshadow so that it can survive the hit and then spectral thief it. Other than that u could use swagger to confuse and increase the foe's attack and then use spectral thief on it. Drain punch is good because after the focus sash usage or after using swagger(the foe might hit even if its confused) it can regain hp. Shadow sneak is a good priority move with 60 base power thanks to technician ability. Hope it helps!

It's actually calculated based on type effectiveness to rock. Charizard is 4 x Weak to Rock which = 50% damage.

Well, Charizard is in the second lowest tier. It's kind of funny because of how powerful it seems in the anime (one of the reasons I don't watch it: COMPLETELY ignoring the obvious facts.) I was kind of expecting a mega because it's in the tier just below ubers, but you'd already used mega mewtwo (pretty good tho.) It died pretty fast, so no one got to see what the set was.
