The red glowing door thingys are either unlocked by killing all nearby hiss, or by destroying all the red hiss clusters on the walls/ceilings. That was why the Parapsychology door was open when you respawned, and why you couldn't get through to the Safe.

I literally did the same thing as you at 57:18 and it actually worked! I took every box from the other room and made a big pile of those and got up there, it took me like 15 minutes tho lol. You can still get up there when you unlock certain power later in the game.

That's a hiss barrier at 1:22:41, there should be red hiss cubes around, destroy them and the barrier will go away. There was a document early in the game about hiss barrier. In fact you should've destroyed one earlier, as there was a barrier right next to the aforementined document and you needed to destroy that barrier to advance the story.

Hey Gabs! The area that you thought was a side-quest with the button is a copyrighted song, it says the song in the title of the Song Questionnaire article you found in the room. There's not much else to the area besides that. :) Also, anytime you find a video, you can instantly access it in your menu. I've found it's better to watch/listen there, since it's a little easier to hear it and eliminates any background noise.

Besides regular side quests, there are also a handful of unmarked quests of sorts that might be a tad obscure to figure out, but are worth pursuing. For instance, if you search the area around the furnace (where you burned the trash for Ahti) you might notice a number of TVs displaying flames (there's a total of 7 IIRC). Try throwing them all in the furnace.

48:13 You can definitely take over more enemies. I remember doing it. You can even take over the red orb which will in turn give you health. Pretty useful when you want to go in like John Wick and not worry about dying. The enemies will kill the orb though after you take it over. EDIT: You don't need to be close to enemies to take over them.

the basic level of the power only lets you take over 2 enemies until you upgrade it. Also , there's another upgrade that allows you take over big enemies like the healing spheres.

gab this game is pretty rewarding with ability points in the beginning and kind of almost encourages play-style exploration through the combat (via source/mod drops) and the different ways you can explore the oldest house/abilities you recieve, so don't be shy investing points into your abilities as you can modify them to your play-style at any of the control points in the game if you have enough source points. (unless you're just forgetting you have them, then ignore me lol)

The combat can get super unforgiving, so there was a tip I was thankful to find that might be useful in the future. For any of the telekinetic Hiss that float in the air/dodge what you throw at them, it can seem like only bullets work. But if you IMMEDIATELY throw something else at them right after they dodge, it should hit them. Learning that made some fights a lot faster/easier.

The multi-throw upgrade is excellent for dealing with those guys for exactly that reason. It basically does what you're describing automatically. It's just too bad it's the final upgrade.

Just a heads up in the top left corner tells you exactly where to go for your quests.The first word is the sector/ floor you have to go to and the second word tells your specifically what room the quest objective is in. Hope this helps dunno if you realized this yet.

Hey Gab, really enjoying the playthrough so far! FYI, you can catch the rocket grenades being launched towards you plus grenades on the ground and launch them back by using you levitation ability. You just have to time it right. Really helpful trick when fighting the heavily armored troopers that can heal themselves.

Hi Gab ! I just wanted to let you know that, if you still want to, you can disable the Steam Overlay (with the achievements and stuff ) for the game. I didn't find a way to select exactly what you want to disable though, I think you can only turn off the whole overlay. ( Steam Library and right click on Control then go into Properties. At 57:02, you CAN get in there gab. I've done it plenty of times. But it involves a level of insanity most people wouldn't bother with. Mostly, in the form of levitating all of the boxes & cases in the other room over here. And trying to pile them up with out them glitching into each other, or the pile collapsing. Usually takes me between 32 ~ 60 min.

I do want to mention that you may want to turn the copyrighted music back on (or somehow let yourself be able to hear it while still muting it for us). I know that seems like a silly or dumb request, but there is a sequence in this game that will lose most of its awesomeness and charm if the copyrighted music is turned off. If you want a really cool reward, go back to the Luck & Probability Department and go into the Level 5 Clearance room and solve the puzzle inside. With the Seize ability, you only have to be in line of sight with the enemy to activate it. Once you start seizing the enemy, you can move behind cover and it will continue to work until the enemy has been seized. This helps so you are not out in the open and stationary for too long. You can only have 2 enemies seized at a time (for now). Seize has its own ability tree associated with it just like the other abilities you get from Objects of Power. At 1:13:25, going to the Oceanview Motel & Casino to perform the Ritual made the large stone bridge in the Firebreak appear that you walked across at 1:13:50. The Oceanview Motel & Casino acts as a sort of supernatural lock where you must perform a specific Ritual that changes with each iteration. Once the Ritual is complete, you can unlock whatever the Oceanview Motel & Casino was hiding in the real world. In this case, it was the stone bridge that I mentioned previously. If you want to get through windows quickly, you can just melee or dash through them. They'll break. The structure at 1:25:20 is the Atlas, in case you never figured it out. You should try to save up materials to upgrade your weapons. You use Grip a lot, so upgrading it will increase its damage and give you another Mod Slot. Overall, I feel like you were rushing through areas a bit too quickly in this episode. It really benefits you to explore every nook and cranny to find documents or world and lore details in the environments. Still had a blast watching though! :)

At 2:03, yeah the secrets of the N.S.C. are majorly screwed up. You basically have to get a ability before you can get up to the top of it, But if you do, the Acronym is spelled out fully there. And there are live feed monitors. It's pure nightmare fuel. Trench & the Janitor will also drop hints if you pay attention.
