This captures that feeling of infatuation and awe in the early days dating someone when it is so consuming. Great song. Takes me back to carefree days.

Underrated musical talent, unfortunately. Saw him live in June 1983 opening for Hall and Oates. Marshall stole the show.

Marsharll never had the career he should have had. He's great. I know he's still around but he really should have had a major break out career in the 80'/90s. I loved his music than and still do.

Amazing band! Marshall Crenshaw is one of the greatest songwriters from that era.

I've seen Marshall about 5 times. Twice in Cleveland and twice in Iowa, and one in Illinois. I spoke to him a bit once next time he saw me he remembered me.

When FM rock stations switched from Top 40 to AOR it cleared out the bad pop and disco to make room for gems like this.

I loved this song right from the first time I heard it with my girlfriend Becky! Still makes me think of her to this day! Awesome song, but in DC when I was a kid in the ‘80s, the only radio station you could catch it on was WHFS 99.1 alternative radio. This song was considered alternative in 1985 lol!

I’ve seen Marshall both with a band and solo, I honestly can’t say which I prefer, now that is a mark of a great songwriter and performer! Seeing him in July, very much looking forward to it!

Such an Amazing Album. The original three really could drive that music. Good to see Robert on the Kit. So much enthusiasm.
