Nice to see you back. I’ve repaired Marshall amps also have a claim to fame on Jim. Yes you’re supposed to take back cover off to access the speaker.

It is good to see the chassis is apparently earthed hopefully there is good low resistance contact as some of the plating can exhibit high resistance.

There's antishake washers biting into the surface and then some sort of varnish stopping it coming lose. Good job I reckon.

I had the bigger brother of this amp. The MG30 and for some reason that would always keep cutting out and frying footswitches. Cant say that I miss it at all. In fact, I cant even remember what happened to it. I never took it to get repaired and I never gigged with it again. replaced it with a Peavy Valveking 112 combo. Unfortunately trying to make it in the music industry is hard, It didnt really pay the bills and the band ended up disbanding. So I didnt really get a whole lot of use out of my investment 😂😂 Such is life though.

I mean to say resistor value.

It should be printed on it. The owner had it back a while ago, so I can't look.
