When you baby or child is so sick that you have to depend on the hospital staff to ensure your child lives, it is so humbling to know they are alive because of the people you trusted with his life, and they came thru for you. To me these people are working with, and for God so how could you not give them your thankfulness for keeping the most precious being in the world alive? You owe these people and God, everything that you are, they gave you life in every way.
