I met Kyle at his first ever meet and greet at the Tuttle mall in Ohio. Kyle was not whatever it is in those texts. I genuinely believe MDE, Bryan stars and the toxicity around him made him feel as though certain jokes were the norm. I never knew him on a personal level at all, but he really seemed like a good kid and really grateful for his fans and opportunities. He was kind of awkward and goofy and he just seems like he’s let things get the better of him. Mental health is a super serious thing, whether people believe it’s or not. Your mind is powerful. Clearly he hurt people, Meghan being one of them. And I remember him and Meghan dating, I remember id watch her live all the time too. She was cool af and I’m glad she’s doing good now & I’m also glad she shared all of her side of the story. I believe her. And he’s a shithead for doing that to her and whoever else. He also seems like he’s grown since then. As we all have. And realized now that a lot of those MDE videos and stuff were kind of weird. And might be a contributing factor to why a lot of this generation is hyper sexual and likes to make more sexual jokes. All love I wish Meghan and Kyle the best ❤

I went to school with Kyle and lived near him. He is and always has been a total dick. He would flat out ignore people who tried to be friends with him and act like he didn't have any friends at the same time, then dropped out his senior year. I never heard anything good about him. My point is, don't trust what you see simply because you met him. Sure, I was never personally his friend, but I have shared a few friends with him and have heard stories. Including how he would be completely obsessed with any girl he was dating within an instant. Things are different for those who personally knew him versus people who only know his internet persona. I randomly thought about him when my fiancé and I were talking and I got curious and looked him up since he's still on my Facebook and I noticed he hadn't posted in a very long time so I looked here and noticed this video lol. Anyway, I can't confirm or deny anything. Just wanted to share my, albeit little, knowledge.

@@marsii not only is this what he grew up seeing as right and as something that was just around him all the time, Kyle was Bryan stars second biggest victim I clearly remember Johnnie saying he offered him drinks and even Kyle didn't say a lot about it's pretty obvious that he suffered from the same things as him, not only that but the sexual humor etc where he was as sexualized as Johnnie at the time I always hoped he would talk about it at some point but I don't think he might have seen as a victim until now as Johnnie sees himself today. He has already revealed that he is an alcoholic and for someone his age to have already developed this addiction, it is because he started very early. I don't doubt that he did the same things he did before always on the video call, it's still wrong because there were minors but I doubt that he really thought about it especially because it was his reality when he was a teenager and he should never have reflected on this. He's wrong but it's a very sad situation

I also want to take the moment to mention that it’s not as simple as you go to therapy and everything is perfectly fine. Sometimes, it helps to take a step further and find one who specializes in more intensive therapies or is a clinical psychologist (PhD, PsyD). I am glad that people are seeking help, big step forward. However, people need to be mindful when suggesting therapy or when and how they refer to it. It’s not going to completely fix you, rather, it’s going to teach you how to better manage and cope with your illness, circumstances, or both.
@marsii6 ай бұрын
Absolutely, therapy is not a concrete solution, more of a gateway to understanding, think of it like a tree, it has branches. Of course therapy just as a whole doesn't work for some people and that's okay too, that's the beauty and pain of being alive, one solution does not fit all.
@randomnameforarandomnerd84006 ай бұрын
agreed! going to a therapy session isn’t an instant fix. it takes a lot of work, time, and patience. you gotta have the right kinda support network too- not just any network will do.

I can't help but feel that this has turned into the destruction of a person's online life as well as their off-line one. Doxxing is never ok! Allegations from 10yrs ago seems like a stretch? Some people are going to have biases either way and this video does its best to just present the information, this video doesn't claim to have everything, and there's experiences that these allegations wouldn't overshadow, like if his videos had helped save someone's life. I think the general consensus is that it was wrong of him for sure, but people want to see him become a better person, and there's also things to take into consideration, not everything is black and white.

What’s sad about this is Kyle was a minor when he met Bryan Stars. Bryan dragged a bunch of minors into making content that should not be allowed on KZbin. This is wrong. I am not condoning any of Kyle’s actions but I believe he was lead to believe sex was a joke. It’s never a joke. I still believe Bryan should get penalized for his actions but he’s let off with a slap on the wrist.

It's shame they're so sexualized that Kyle probably never thought that that's could be inappropriate cause he is doing/people are doing this with him since he had the same as the victims...
