This is the coolest channel I've found lately. As an emo teenager from a country where the style wasn't so popular for a long time, I followed these KZbinrs and I thought it was really cool of them to do all this research, solving our curiosity about what happened to them. I mean I think part of it was that the audience they had weren't old enough to realise it was bad, just that it was funny, of course there's more to it than that but there's multiple factors

@@marsiiyup this is it. Most MDE fans were 12-16 years old, we were the same age as them and younger. A lot of it almost fits in as shocking kids’ humor. As adults it’s a lot more obviously weird
