Marsoc or Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command is a special operations force within the United States Marine Corps. The units main capabilities consists of direct action, special reconnaissance and foreign internal defense. The unit have though been deployed in order to deal with counter-terrorism and different information operations.

When people refer to Tier 1 they are talking about Delta and ST6, but the Tier 1 indicator is a refrence to their level of funding rather than to their mission profile or JSOC affiliation.

I don´t really understand, you need 61 days to make a ranger but 9 months to make a raider, is that so???? so much is the diference betwin them??? raiders are so much better????

Silvia Concha remember marsoc is also part amphibious and have more time to train, rangers are trained at a faster rate because rangers are such a big special forces group to raid bigger objectives. Although if rangers decide to become green berets, they are trained for an even greater amount of time since they are smaller and more about unconventional warfare and/or sometimes raid smaller areas.
