Player was fortunate to win this one. Way too much reliance on long guard (which is why the blade kept getting knocked out of the way) and no regard for conserving/managing stamina. Lucky that the hit detection on Marta's high stabs is extremely generous. Marta is a defensive fighter who benefits from lots of side-to-side movement and punishing wide swings with her quick stab counters, not rushing in and constantly attacking. A non-AI Isabella would've likely punished this with her sidestep swings.

Reading this , when I previously thought of this as a character move manipulation game (like absolver) , made me realize this is far more similar to traditional fighting games, just with physics .

@@theglitchcounter264 I'm not familiar with Absolver, but the closest analogue is Bushido Blade but with physics. The one-hit-kill possibility is the biggest difference from other genres of fighting games.

At 2:15 starting from 2:10 player character dodged the falling weapon that NPC dropped from it's hands. Was that programmed or just player's quick reaction?

The only thing I don't like about this Game is how awkard is the close combat. They stand there with the sword not frantically stabbing eachother like it was Prison.

This is a Display of Swordsmanship in a Face of Duels A Bit of Honor still needs to be upheld, go watch some 17th century warfare if you want people stabbing each other in tight formations.

@@ufeisen5059 if you have thin arms (wich seems to be the case) and you have to swing that amount of weight for a certain period, my guess is your stamina won't last long. Ps: on second thought maybe u r right and beneath that blouse she might have a pretty buff pair of arms.

While 2handing it probably not since they range from 1.5 to 2.5lbs for a longsword (1kg about?) Nobles would not be working in the fields for a daily workout.
