I'm 51. Don't feel so bad. I've seen many and they go super fast and their done. I like how this was a slow but awesome tutorial and very explanatory. Yes, there are women like me who have no idea how to battle the hooded eye. Plus, I don't know how to apply eye make up. Now I'm going to try this. Thank you so much for this video. I think it’s a beautiful look. My late mother was a beautician, she loved makeup so much. I remember when I younger and I found out there were certain looks I couldn’t do because of my hooded eyes. My late mother always told me I could wear any look, I just needed to know how. Unfortunately, I didn’t listen to her because I felt so defeated that I didn’t have normal shaped eyes. I was always told my eyes are beautiful, but I wouldn’t listen. Now that I’m finally seeing that I can wear any look, I’m so happy to watch tutorials to learn how to do these different looks and not feel bad about my eye shape. Thank you so much for the video, and I believe my mom is smiling from heaven right now.

I know what you mean! I used to watch Bailey Sarian and she always does these really cool eye looks and I would try them but they just didn't look the same because of my hooded eyes. I stopped doing my makeup for a few years. I didn't realize my eyes were hooded 😂 but once I figured it out and figured out my eye shape, and I started watching videos like this, I am actually learning how to apply and getting better at eyeshadow and I'm very pleased with the looks I've been able to come up with. 😊

I just got so incensed by another bullying commenter, that I forgot to say thanks for the great video Marta! My eyes are so hooded I lost all my upper field of vision, and had to have blepharoplasty surgery 6 weeks ago. They're still hooded, but much better, and now I'm trying to learn the ropes for eyeshadow. Your tutorial is the only one that has appealed to me so far, and I've watched many. Keep up the good work! And ignore the ignorant; the haters that feel the need to call any part of someone's physical choices or appearance "hideous", are truly the ones with the hideous souls. I just love this look. Winged eyeliner has been done to death and I'm so relieved to see people getting away from it. Quick tip if you're going to use powder in your water line start with the base of a lighter pencil and the powder will stick better. Seriously, this is lovely.

These colors are beautiful. I love that you don't need to spend a ton to look good. There are so many affordable options these days and I love it. My fav eyeshadow pallet cost me 10 bucks and it's got every shadow you'd need for a dramatic look or simple everyday quick ones. I love how you cleaned up your brows. I am gonna see how that works for me. Usually I use shadow primer but I'm gonna see how the concealer and powder works out. I do need a new rimmel stay matte powder. It fell and broke on me and that stuff is awesome. It also sets the face nicely.

I’ve been doing my own makeup for 15 years and I have never thought of using a sponge applicator for shimmer shadows or pigments. It works great! My eyes are so hooded I can’t use my finger, I get it everywhere. Thank you so much for the tip! Good luck to you and I love your videos!

I’ve watched a lot of tutorials but never followed. This was my first. I’ve struggled so much finding quick ways to get the right shape and application techniques. I’m 47 and I did it!! It even got the seal of approval from my teen! Said it was much better than what I’ve done before. What I like most about your tutorial was there were so many techniques that were clearly communicated and shown but nothing too difficult. I really feel like I have a base technique now that I can experiment with different colors. Muchas gracias!! ❤️

This is genuine the BEST tutorial for hooded eyes!I am new to makeup and the eyeshadow part was always a struggle because no matter what I did, it didnt look good or you cpuldnt really see it because my eyes are really hooded. Thank you so very much for doing this video. Up until about 2 years ago I felt like I was really good with makeup and then I started losing my hair due to Alopecia which means I get to wear wigs. I was devastated at first but now I look at my wigs as an accessory to my outfits. The only part that was missing was the makeup part due to my hooded eyes. Omg I tried this technique with white as the base/crease, a rose gold shimmer, and black in the corner and it came out SO GOOD❤💎 To make it more dramatic I put black on the water/lash line and mascara on the bottom lashes

My tip for women who are attempting to do this is to memorize your steps and with what brush to do them in. That way you won't be questioning what to do next and it won't come out looking terrible. It seems like there are a million steps and that can be overwhelming.I tried this and it came out very nice.😊
