guys u need to put effort in paddling AND listen to exactly what the instructor says . these guys were not putting any power in the paddling at all.we were 4 friends and still managed to complete to long rafting without any accident at all because we were giving every ounce of power we had we even helped 2 rafts that got flipped. Not to sound lowly or discriminating, try to avoid groups with women OR if keep at most 2 women in a full raft of 14 that way the men can compromise for the power. please dont take it the bad way im saying all this because rishikesh rafting is considered the most dangerous and life threatening in India, Please dont put your or others life at risk go have fun keep a cool mind and enjoy.

Agree, same rafting was done by us where we all are boys and without flipping we came to our destination. The person who sit on first are the driver to the boat how powerful they are peddling.
