Chan Wai Man and a lot of his 14K buddies were in a turf war over TST East in the early '80's when I was a club manager in Hollywood East - the best disco in HK at the time. As I remember they were up against either the Sun Yee On or the Wo Sing Wo. It ended up having to get the Special Branch to come mediate... Anyhow - I always remember having once to tell him to go smoke his joint inside, behind the multimedia glass display - instead of right at the entrance next to me at the kiosk. He gave me a real Bad Look... and a Diu Lai! I had no idea he was anything more than a movie star but found out later on he was a real 14K 'enforcer" !

I saw his interview few days ago in Cantonese. He said that back to 80's, he took Bruce Lee's son (Brandon Lee) to a movie casting in Japan. The compensation for the movie was about 2.5M in Hong Kong Dollars and Chan Wai Man supposed to be taken 15% commission from Brandon Lee. But Brandon Lee rejected the movie cause he had been asked to imitate all the moves and action of his father. Brandon Lee told everyone that never called him a son of Bruce Lee again. Brandon is Brandon, Bruce Lee is Bruce Lee. Chan Wai-Man then ask if he is Chinese? Brandon replied him "No, I am an American". Then, Chan Wai-Man slapped his face hard. But Brandon didn't hit him back. The interviewer asked what if he hit back? Chan Wai-Man said "I was not as strong as Brandon, I also don't know if I would've won the fight after he hit me back. But he would be in a deep shit if he did hit me back, I have lots of "People" around me. Then, Brandon just left after he slapped his face. One more thing, he said that Bruce Lee is a Legend, but his son is a piece of shit. And Chan Wai-Man confirmed that Brandon is gay. My conclusion after I watched his interview, I respected Chan Wai Man a lot before this interview. But after this interview? No. Chan Wai- Man slapped a son of his friend who is already passed away. Plus, there is nothing wrong for a person who didn't want to live under a shadow of his father. You slapped Brandon's face? because you don't agree with him? To force an American to admit that he is Chinese? Even Bruce Lee is an American. Or he ruined up your 15% commission? And you tell everyone in front of the media that Brandon is gay? No more respect for this guy.

It works both ways. The police need the different triads to control their own men and stay out of trouble. The triads need the police to do their business and dealings. I've read interviews with him about Bruce Lee ... he had great respect for the Dragon. He was one of the triads who was asked to have a friendly match with Lee. He said, "Are you kidding? Bruce would just embarrass me." The triads weren't controlling films in that era... it was the Shaw Brothers... so the triads had not motive to do away with BL anyway... not to mention that Lee had friends in high places in the official police (with 'connections') and the triads. Matt Polly's book goes into the extensive medical proof that Lee wasn't poisoned, there could be no huge conspiracy involving the government chemists, doctors, etc... and that very likely heat stroke was the final blow that killed the already weakened Dragon... he likely had heat stroke in his first collapse. When you have one episode, the body is very weakened to another episode. If heat stroke were known in those days as it is now as the leading cause of death in athletes in summer months, MDs would've at least told Bruce of the great danger and tell him to go to California. Of course, even then, it's likely he wouldn't have listened.
@jasonchu44005 жыл бұрын
also he took a lot of cortizone for his back injury which was a secret and cortizone is steroid that stops inflammation of his slipped disc in the spine from the hardcore weight training he does and the seizures he had with the heat stroke showed his body and organ functions we're being confused by this cortizone and cortizone back then is not that good or well studied. that mix with the pain suppressing medicine really made his body gave out even though he was strong AND healthy but pain blockers combine with the cortizone completely made the signal get blocked WHILE being EXTREMELY overworked without control or balance because pain signals being blocked and suppressing more and more inflammation everyday a organ HAD to give out at that point no matter if your bruce lee strong so his vessels took a lot of pressure in his brain where the headache was occurring but due to not knowing if its a problem or pain from having signals blocked from the pain killer....the body just worked extra hard without knowing any balance or limit and the pressure from the headache made the swelling occur to the point where it's just deadly but again the body did not know anything cause signal of pain was being blocked

As A Grand Inquisitor Level True Master Pimp and Grand Inquisitor Level Predator I can tell you that, the conditions that this underworld master is describing only emerge in the absence of balance in the form of family dysfunction and subsequent single parenting. Underworld discipline and civility are ultimately underpinned by overworld discipline and civility... In the absence of basic family structure and basic family values there can be no underworld family structure and family values. In this world there is only balance and collapse and in the absence of balance there is inevitably collapse. When families come apart people evolve into wild animals and in every corner of society it becomes an every mouse for himself type ratrace / struggle for survival. Capitalist education systems make people worship numbers over everything else and people subsequently become completely numbed by the numbers, which is the whole and sole purpose of their creation. The real gangsters who have completely turned the modern world completely upside down are in fact Indians and Pakistanis, that's whose ultimately long been secretly running all of the thugs, drugs, weapons, warlords, religions and vicious government policies that create wars that ultimately very precisely target India and Pakistan's ancient enemies, colonies and regional and global competitors like Afghanistan and China. Without Indian numerals, which are mistakenly called Arabic numerals, the number 0, The Syntax Computer Language System which underpins the global computer system, The Indo-European family of languages and innumerable belief systems, including academics and money worship, all of which come directly from India, there could be no modern civilization. www.amazon.com/dp/B00CFPN4A6/ref=rdr_kindle_ext_tmb www.amazon.com/dp/B07DD6J49S/ref=rdr_kindle_ext_tmb
