Martha is a gift from God, a musical miracle. This is the first time I've heard her collaborate with Lahav Shani - a wonderful conductor and pianist who seems to have great respect and admiration for her.

I was there ;-) Amazing concert, Martha played most of these pieces (actually all of them ;-) with Nelson Freire and her tempi are almost the same, 30 or 40 years later! And don't forget Lahav Shani, where on earth does he find time to play the piano so well next to being a very busy conductor?

Thank you so much for posting this. I wondered how Martha is doing this year, and this post appeared. I was worried about her, but watching this reassures me that she’s doing fantastic. I love Martha and Lahav’s ongoing collaborations - they must have a connection for Martha to keep working with him. Reminds me of Martha’s days with her beloved Nelson.. Lahav has big shoes to fill, and obviously he’s filling them just fine.

2 Questions! 1. Does anyone know where to find Martha's performing schedule? She doesn't seem to have a website that lists her performance schedule and I'd do anything to get to a performance! 2. Does anyone know the particular arrangement they played for the nutcracker encore???

Gottes Zeit is die allerbeste Zeit de la cantata 106, tal vez la mas hermosa de todas. El tema lo tocan dos flautas dulces, hermosísimo, instrumentación inusual para JS Bach. También conocida como Actus Tragicus.
