To play this wonderful and complex concerto requires a lot of energy and passion, and Martha Argerich plays it with a mastery worthy of a standing ovation by the with the same effusion by Tchaicovski himself. Bravo! Martha Argerich!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Thx @Max Lima for the up!👍

Jaw-dropping moments: 11:04, 13:35, 34:50. It's like the power of Nature unleashed. It's a cliché to comment about "octaves, octaves, octaves" on Tchaikovsky 1, but this time, you've got to admit. It is beyond astonishing.

Thanks so much Max for posting. Every time I listen to her play, whether it’s octaves, something slow or even something in between I am always left speechless at her talents. The technique, the interpretation, the sheer joy she has with the music itself is something that is her own. There will never be another Martha Argerich. Let.us all revel in the one we have now.

@@rigel48 Your comment reminds me of a renowned critics review of a new generation pianists who was trained in Japan, like a military exercise. "Not a wrong note and the timing was like a swiss watch. It was so perfect that I nearly fell asleep out of complete boredom".
