Excellent video! I liked the background music while flying over the Hudson and the great pictures.

I liked the shot with the people jumping off the bridge and the “No Jumping or Diving Off Bridge” sign in the foreground. Was that the Jaws bridge?
@martinpauly5 жыл бұрын
You are the first one to comment on that, Richard. I remember seeing that sign right by the bridge all the kids were jumping off, and figured somebody might get a kick out of it. I sure did! :-) Best regards, Martin

Hallo Martin. Danke für das tolle Video. Habe ihn genossen.
@martinpauly7 жыл бұрын
Hallo Tolga, gern geschehen.

Martin. Love the videos. Seems like your ignition radio noise is getting worse. Time for a new harness, mag overhaul, or ???
@martinpauly7 жыл бұрын
James, it so happens I'm picking up N70TB from its annual inspection today, with a brand-new ignition harness. The mags had been overhauled before, without any change to the radio noise. I hope the new harness will bring some improvement - we'll find out soon.

are you using foreflight or garmin,or wingxpro7 good video just discovered your videos.
@martinpauly6 жыл бұрын
Hi Don, the app I use is WingX Pro7. I've been using that for around six years, since when I first got a portable ADS-B receiver, and back than WingX Pro7 was pretty much the only game in town. Several other choices today, of course.
@dondoswell31136 жыл бұрын
I have that on my ipad but I have never tried it how do you like it and is it easy to use?
@martinpauly6 жыл бұрын
Don, I'm probably not a good person to ask because I lack a basis for comparison (i.e. ForeFlight, Garmin Pilot, etc.). I like WingX Pro7 in flight; that's all I use it for - for flight planning, filing, weather briefing etc. I use other, web-based services.

@@martinpauly I have 182 I have done instrument training for years with having money then running out renting planes such a nightmare. so i bought a 182 and I have been upgrading the radios put adsb in and out and now I can shoot an ils so I have done all instrument training over years including the cross country with 3 different approaches, it has been 5 years since then starting again... I bet i am the only pilot that has accomplished everything but the check ride and not gotten my ticket.... but soon i will finish.

Vielen Dank Herr Pauly fuer hervorragende Darstellung, aber Das Audio von aussen is schlimm. Ihre Stimme is gut.
@martinpauly7 жыл бұрын
Danke - das freut mich! :-) I agree, the audio (radio reception) left a lot to be desired. Fortunately, since then I've had my ignition harness replaced which fixed the annoying radio noise problem. You can hear the result in my Atlanta videos, as well as the latest O'Hare video (and all future ones, of course).

Poor communications, keep things brief (use short, succinct aviation jargon) You sound amateurish! PS: I suggest getting a hand held transceiver and monitor high density ATC activity such as NY and alike to learn proper comm procedures.

Shamayah David are you kidding me? I've been a comm pilot for 28 years and Martin is extremely professional in his flying and his phraseology. If you are sincerely being serious in your comment then you are obviously a true "Sim" pilot and have never flown a real airplane not one time. I do NOT know of any ATC guys that wouldn't love to have everyone speak as professional and to the point as Martin. You my friend are obviously a Monday armchair recliner type pilot and people like you truly make me wonder "WHY" I really even wasted my time replying this to you......go fly your sims and keep listening to "YOUR" hand held, you sim ROOKIE......by the way your the asshole and "I" suggest you leave real airplanes to be flown by real certified pilots and you keep your little handheld beside you while flying your sim. ASSHOLE
