I will never get tired of watching sammo hung kicking ass ,because his martial arts are iconic especially when he lost to bruce lee as well as Chuck Norris my grandmother and I would watch it every weekend growing up when I didn't have no school 🚸 .

God I miss this show, such a shame it only lasted 2 seasons. It was such a great show a lot of good fight scenes.
@elvisjimpa1008 жыл бұрын
I miss this show too.I watched and recorded almost every episode on whs.I was uploading the best fights from session two but that video got blocked.Fun fact about this show.It was originally Jackie Chan that should play Sammos role but he was working with the movie rush hour so they picked Sammo hung instead.Not a bad choice if you ask me.
@JayDee2848 жыл бұрын
I read up that Sammo wasn't happy that the 2nd season was more focused on fight scenes then the story & characters so he left plus the show cost a lot still its finely getting DVD release soon :)
@elvisjimpa1008 жыл бұрын
JayDee284 I like the 2nd season too but the fight scenes in that one wasent as great as the first season.Except from an great episode starring Mark Dacascos.The fight between him and Sammo at the end are amazing.It was episode 5 and was called "a million reasons to die".Try to get your hands on that.I promise you that you will not be disapointed.

He and Jackie Chan went to the Beijing Opera School. They were part of a troupe called the 7 Little Fortunes. It was a brutal but disciplined academy for young actors in gymnastics and martial arts. Sammo is the "big brother" of the famous Asian Trio. Jackie is the middle brother and Yuen Biao is the little brother (but an amazing gymnast). They've done many films together and apart. Legends!!!!

One of the most fun action series on TV...ever. Never took itself seriously. It came right before most Americans first saw HK-style action in The Matrix. Surprisingly, the show went into a second season, replacing the wooden characters of the 1st season. Whatever it was, the show was a triumph for the iconic Sammo Hung, who deserved more recognition from an ignorant audience and media (as usual, yawn...). Good thing a few fight fans saved the show from immediate cancellation. The show should return again for re-runs, now that Hollywood doesn't like having white people dominating the cast on their films. One only has to take a deep look at Netflix to figure that out. Oh, wait...Hollywood also lost it's mojo for male heroes. 😎

Maybe me, If I wr an action star. ha ha. only Jet Li or Donnie Yen. Tony Jaa?

He worked with both Jet Li and Donnie Yen, currently working with Tony Jaa. Although he's not a Hollywood star, he is one of the most respected people in his native China, much more than Jackie Chan, who was his junior in Beijing Opera.
