I remember that Mirko once asked him something like "Bob, what are you doing? You are strong, you are big, why are you doing this?" and Bob said that no money in the world is going to repair any serious and long-lasting damage when he fights longer than he has to. I'm getting his point, you don't wanna have all the money in the world but struggling with CTE or other damages that will dominate you for your rest of your life. On the other hand, you decided to be a fighter and you go all out. Basically Bob takes a dive to get his promised salary to live a "normal" life without taking any heavy damage. Remember when Bob and Mike Tyson had this funny exchange in the ring where Mike wanted Bob to sign a contract to fight him? While I believe that this was just a stunt to hype Bob up, Mike vs. Bob would have ended in about fifteen seconds, lol. PS. Thanks for all the content, Henry. I cannot wait when UFC 4 drops and you are going to create even more content with that game. Let's gooo!!

Carl Thompson this game is so much better than anything out now. The career mode was simple but interesting. The pride only moves with kicks and knees on the ground. All the different rocked animations. Using signature attacks meant so much more. I forgot you could do doctor stoppages. I used to rock people and then go for submissions, they were so much more effective that way. Or rocking people due to a German suplex. If this was compatible with Xbox One I’d still be playing it.

The grappling in this game, both in the clinch and on the ground, just looks so much more organic and natural than in EA UFC 3. It doesn't look like you're just transitioning between different sets of poses. It actually looks like the characters are wrestling.

I think the most underrated thing about this game is those knockdowns without being rocked. I know EA UFC 3 kind of does it where some knockdowns don't leave you in one of those TKO positions but you still get the flashing health event from it. I love it in this game because it looks like you were just caught off balance and makes it way more realistic in my opinion

Bob truly was a beast before Mirco broke his orbital with his kick. People feared him. And he still competes even now, but mostly, he loses on purpose to up and coming fighters to get them the W and get the L while getting paid big money. He is still loved in Japan and people will still pay copious amounts of money to see him fight. It's good a business I guess lol

Sapp used to be pretty legit, one of the reasons that he fell apart later in his career I feel was because of Cro Cop. Cro Cop shattered Sapp's orbital in a fight and Bob was kinda hesitant from then on, this and what @el cucuy. said are the two reasons he fell from grace

The animations for the clinch and the ground came just looks so much more fluid than UFC 3 they look much more natural are they even can animations I'm not sure like in the Pat Barry fight he denied a clenched and the clinch animation like rolled into the jab animation beautifully I'd love to see things like that in UFC 4
