Xiaomi TV 4K QLED A Pro 2025 Review: Major or Minor upgrades?

Not even a month ago I got the 32" 2025 model. Good colors and great sound. Although it's not FHD but HD ready. Something I didn't know exested.... Unfortunately for me it has major UI stucks and bugs. They supposedly add a new more powerful processor... I have put the maximum background apps to 2 and turn off all the animations but nothing. The TV manager from Xiaomi kinda helps, thank God.

Uff, that sounds strange. Maybe then with your seller if you didn't get a faulty unit, as I don't experience any of your mentioned issues.

Ouch. "HD-Ready" resolution (1366×768) TVs have existed for a long time, since around the early 2010s, and some companies still make them, likely to make them cheap and/or because they know they're going to be placed in bedrooms. If you're planning to sell that TV off, I do know that the TCL model 32S5400 has a true full HD (1920×1080) display, so that's an alternative option. I, however, don't have one so I can't gauge the performance of Google TV on that. TCL is the only company I know of who make a 32" 1080p TV available brand new (at least in Singapore and Australia), and besides that, Sony did make a 32" 1080p TV too back in around 2014 or so, which are models KDL-32W700B or C, they run an older smart TV platform but I have a Xiaomi TV Box S 2nd gen connected to my W700B for streaming.

May I know the processor? I believe there's a downgrade compared to 2024 version with 16gb ROM. For this version 2025 it only has 8gb ROM

Yup! Quick Specs: same with last A-model series (ARM-A55/MALI G52) but with lesser ROM @8GB. Downgraded from 16GB. Why? To make it "affordable". Everything was kept except the "new" QLED panel and rebranded it as 2025. That's all there is to it.

@Миихаил Sure! Long story short: it sucked. I returned it and bought the Xiaomi TV S Mini LED 65". The A Pro is too slow, I got FPS drops when streaming on Crunchyroll.. The S Mini has a much better panel, airplay integration, 144hz and a better processor which makes the experience much smoother. (:
