They won't open the TV even if u have opted for Open box. One more thing to keep in mind, if u buy from Amazon or Flipkart, they generally send their own engineer to install instead of Xiaomi engineers so raise a ticket with Xiaomi to send Xiaomi engineers otherwise Xiaomi will deny warranty if it's installed by Amazon/ Flipkart engineers.
