There's a quote I really love about the playing of Jakob Praetorius: "When he played such pieces, he respected the particular qualities of the various stops of the instrument, using them in such a way that the listener was compelled to admire not only the musician but also the organ itself." Great organists naturally make organs sound their best!

Did you know from which cd comes the uploaded music in this video? Is it a recording before or after the last restoration of the Steinkirchen Schnitger in 2012? I thank you for your support

Please excuse me for the late reply! I actually never finished the description for this video, I will do so promptly. This was from a live concert in April 2013, so indeed after Rowan West restored the organ!
