Martin Barreby - A Vehicle Theme (Thundercats)

When I heard that a soundtrack for the Thundercats TV-series never have been released I got a little mad.
Bernard Hoffers amazing music deserves to be released, for both his sake and the fans of him and the series.
I then calmed down and decided to remake them as close to the originals as I ever could do.
So I sat down with the shows and looked for any recordings of the songs, listened and recreated. I used my favorite music software ever Reason 4. Awesome Program.
Here is a song that was new to me. I have not watched the second season yet but got a request from "Rachidna" here on youtube, and thank you for that. This song is awesome. It was quiet tough to make so I hope you people will like it!

If you people would like you can do requests and send me a clip or sound file of the song that you would like me recreate, and maybe I'll do it.

Great song. I have been looking for this particular bgm from Season 2 of Thundercats for ages. I first heard this song when I watched Thundercats Ho The Movie on VHS. Ahh good times. And the music that was playing when Lion-o was taking on Hammerhand and his crew on his ship in order to try and save their fellow countrymen and lady was very enjoyable. And the banter between hero and villan was just as memorable now as it was in the 1980's. Hammerhand: Mind my ship careful you fool. Hammerhand then goes to attack Lion-o. Hammerhand: Its Hammerhand himself you'll have to deal with now Thundercat. As he speaks Lion-o and Hammerhand cross weapons in deadly combat. Lion-o regards his enemy as they stare at each other through their deadlock. Lion-o: And it will be a dirty deed if I know you Hammerhand. Thank you very much for posting this song. I really appreciate this.

Thank you! Makes me happy to hear that. Back in the day when I did this I had kind of limited gear and Software so it's not the best. Maybe I'll go back to it again sometime and make it better and even more faithful to the original recording.

Your very welcome Martin Barreby. I understand what your saying about things been limited back in the day. But even now it is people like you and manymore who can fully appreciate that the old programmes tv shows and audio books based upon 80's franchises were the best and I'll never forget what they mean to me for all time. Thank you so much and kindly for keeping the spirit and powerbase of the original Thundercats show alive with its musical cues and score which is right up there with Transformers He- And The Masters Of The Universe and many more. @AngelStratocaster I am glad you like it! I made the music by listening to the different songs from the show and then tried and mimic the arrangements ans sound in the software syntheziser Reason. Sometimes very hard, but a lot of fun!

Feedback from the treble and bass needs to get boosted with a faster pace. Trumpet sound needs to be more like a bugle burst into the funky bass guitar. 20-40% higher pitch like the champions of third Earth theme. The thunderstrike theme had the same oomph but had the funky rift.

As critical constructive advice, the tempo needs to be sped up slightly. And the trumpet style sound that starts at 0:08 sounds a bit flat. Doesn't have that KICK i would love it to have. Great song, and well done. Like (cant link address): "ThunderCats : Panthro" by shane0mac79 The Thunderstrike song was the most upbeat funky sound. Modify your one to perfection, please :)

The theme should be faster and is more like a roar. It is the same speed and tempo as Who do you want to be today? This is good but the tempo is slow and is needing more of a bitchslap kind of pace.

I had not heard it either but people requested it and I liked it so I made it. It is from the second season and is played when they use some kind of flying vehicle.

Jarrod Rossi true thier is a episode were Lionel dreams about pumira lynxo and the white tiger were panthro is flying a ship and this theme plays cool😁
