I didn’t even know these existed until I walked into the acoustic room at my local mom & pop and saw it hanging on the wall. This is a wonderful place where everything is accessible. It’s amazing. Nothing behind glass, nothing locked to the wall. None of those annoying little plastic things binding up the strings that reads “Ask for assistance!”…. When I saw the finish and the shape I was immediately curious. Once I saw the $3k price tag, I HAD to pick it up. After a single strum, I was sat on the floor for 20 minutes playing this guitar. I was nearly in tears at how beautiful the tone was, how responsive and easy to play. I’ve only ever had cheap acoustics and the old Nippon Gakki Yamaha I played live for about 15 years was like wrestling a bear. What I’m trying to say is YES. This guitar is all that and more. Great video, sir.

My experience with the CEO 7 has surprised me. I like Taylor and Martin guitars but often lean toward Taylor. For me, the playability. My opinion only. I feel that the CEO 7 is the best guitar that I have played. I have owned it for 2 1/2 years. It has helped diminish guitar acquisition syndrome for me.

Have you had any issues with binding separation? I just got mine and have read this has been a common occurance. Hoping they fixed that tho in the newer models

@@erinjoy8338 Erin, I've heard about the issue. My CEO 7 will be 3 yrs. old in March- no issues. I don't anticipate selling or trading this guitar. For me, it is a great guitar for fingerstyle and it is an all around wonderful guitar.

Hello,is this guitar an acoustic electric? Plz help me for clarity i need to buy one if its amplifiable

@@Pazzopaty Martin makes them with and without electronics. The one you want would be listed as a CEO 7E. If it’s listed without the E it won’t have it.

I’ve always felt that the CEO7 is one of Martins best offerings.

I agree after demo-ing one a few years ago. Nice balance . There was, apparently, some issues with binding separating from the body. Maybe a glue composition issue which hopefully they resolved.

My wife (now deceased) negotiated the price on a used CEO-7. IT really sings for groups up to 40 folks ina living room setting acoustically. Bass improves over time, but I play it often. I have a Custom Shop one with Rosewood back and sides, no burst. Great guitars! Thanks Joe

Hellos Tex,have you seen the new Martin that Cooper designed? It is beautiful! ...but I want the CEO 7 myself.

I have taken years to choose the CEO-7 and I'm trading my D-28 next week. Thanks for an excellent morale booster. Each of us does wonder if our choice is valid, are we going to be disappointed, are we buying a dud because it just looks nice. Then we see a review like this and it restores confidence. So thank you.
