I think it was for multiple reason, one being to give everyone a break, especially Martin Clunes who had multiple filming commitments this year. Another was apparently land / parking issues, as supposedly the new owner of some of the land used for parking wasn't happy about it continuing in its current format. Hopefully though it will return in August 2020.

Yes, in a sense, a lot of it is a free roaming type of fair, with rides and stalls, etc, but some of the dog shows Martin would host and present the prizes himself, whereas others were hosted by different people.

No, I don't think so. The second I saw his horse walk in the ring, I thought he was magnificent. I know nothing of the standards for draught horses / heavy horses and only a very little about Thoroughbreds. In my *uneducated* opinion, his horse had the best conformation ... short straight back, well-developed shoulder in proportion to powerful hindquarters, balanced height/leg length, beautiful arched neck, intelligent face, some spirit, and when in motion...he was lovely. And of course, Martin Clunes would likely have more financial resources to put towards breeding or purchasing horses than most, if not all of his competition.
@Lagolop5 жыл бұрын
Mr Bean...
@avrilcrisp57255 жыл бұрын
Why is he making a farce of the showing ring? And then is awarded first place when the horse was bad mannered, had less conformation points than some of the others and was badly handled. That is what is poor about the horse showing world, its not what you turn out but who you know.
@emiliarev51205 жыл бұрын

Traditionally tails were docked to prevent them from being caught and injured in harness or mechanical equipment.
