Martin Guitar In Mexico

I've got a X series 000 westside custom edition style 3, made in Mexico. I couldn't afford an American made Martin. I love my 000, I play it more than any of my other guitars. The Mexican guitars are superb value for money, anyone thinking of buying one won't regret it.

I had been seeing a Martin DX1AE at my Guitar center and played one every time I went in. The quality and workmanship were of great quality. The sound, of course, was fantastic. I don't make a great deal of money so seeing a Martin guitar I could afford was great. I'm proud to say I now own a Martin DX1AE and am VERY happy to have and play it. I would definitely recommend this guitar to any guitar player; novice, or expert. Affordable, easy to play, and of course, that fantastic Martin sound.

Bought my X series two weeks ago, I played other guitars in that price range and kept coming back to the Martin. I have been playing it as often as possible every day. I love it and, well, it's a Martin.

Many of us come from rough backgrounds as stated, for me, a Martin Guitar provided an outlet for my own salvation through the music I play. I bought my first DM at the age of 22 in 1995. The best investment I ever made. Thank you for sharing this wonderful story.

I bought a DX1AE back in March. First strum I fell in love, and I was blown away by the price point for that much acoustic sound quality.

I have always loved the sound and "feel" of Martin Guitars,I had a neighbor that owned a much played D-35 that I played every chance I got... but me buying one for myself was never financially feasible as I only play to entertain myself. With the imported Martins being such decent quality I might just finally be able to fulfill my wish.

Martin Mexico is still a Martin. There's the same quality standard, craftsmanship, pride in workmanship, materials & tonal quality as the PA madels. I own a Gibson J-45 & never considered another brand. Then I played a DX1. Feels & sounds as good as a $1500 Gibson. They are both terrific, dependable guitars.

i couldn't live without my backpacker. i travel, go camping. and i also live on a ship months at a time, my backpacker can be wedged out the side of my mattress and take up no room in my already crammed cabin. thank you for making these martin guitars :)

Martin Guitars! I am proud to own one. The best thing I love about Martin is that the business has always been family owned. The offspring was always willing to be interested in the guitar and the family business. It has such a long history why not be interested.

I've had my steel-string backpacker for 8 years now and it's been everywhere with me. By taping a piezo in it from an old cheap acoustic-electric I've even used it for gigs. Two years ago I also started using it as a lap guitar by raising the strings with a nut extension. It's always an eye-catcher and it plays and sounds great!

Ive owned a martin D1, a DM, and now I have a martin SWR, a custom job for Guitar Center. Playing a guitar like this changed everything for me. They are the finest musical instruments in the world, as far as I am concerned.

@ JLWing77: Same here! I bought the same guitar about the same time. I was a Gibson man for many years, but this guitar took me by storm, like you say, from the first strum! I'd never played a Martin before, but I wouldn't have anything else now.

other than that i dont have any comment...you inherit hundred years knowledge in guitar making. Sweet words about guitar and how great your qualtiy control i think is unnececassy for guitar maker like Martin BUT sometime it is good to think sometime world is much much bigger than Martin in term of music and guitar making. result and feedback is the most important so think about it. regards.

Just bought brand new set of Martin medium steel strings and the G string broke when simply tightening it first time.
