The Australian Christian Lobby's Martin Iles maintains there is no psychological harm caused by churches providing counselling to those who seek it. But while conservative churches maintain their right to council, the general community is demanding change - and the State Government of Victoria has led the charge by prohibiting all forms of gay conversion therapy.
