lostmagiknyram Its a good job that Dean didn’t wear this outfit when he went for his screen test for Rio Bravo some nine years after this movie - John Wayne and Howard Hawks would have run him off the set! And we would have been deprived of seeing Dean in one of his best onscreen performances, one for which many believe he should at least have been nominated for an Oscar.

Can’t stand Jerry Lewis; that stupid fake voice. Dean looks elegant even in western dress, sings very smoothly. Good looking.
