Saw Soen this year on there US tour. Small venue on a Tuesday. The band killed the gig and watching Martin on the drums was fantastic. The drum sound live was just like imperial, fantastic.

Memorial is a fantastic album that masterfully blends intense and quiet moments with great melodic hooks and even some Megadeth like guitar riffs and some of the most tasteful guitar solos I’ve heard in a while! :-)

Got introduced to the band a few years ago with their "Lykaia" album. It may still be my favorite! After Lotus came out I bought their 2nd one "Tellurian" from 2014- what an awesome record. Check out the song "Void"- EPIC! Then bought the debut "Cognitive" and loved that too. I found "Imperial' to be excellent as well and saw them touring it in Chicago late 2022. They were tight and sounded great. The new one "Memorial" is good but too polished and safe for my taste. They'll be back in US in May 2024- I'll be there! 🤘
