I would love to see the Glass Prison as a opener. Also A nightmare to remember feels like a opener, as a song from the album where they left off. But than again I couldn't care tbh just too stoked for the whole 40th anniversary show

St Anger over Load/Reload is a crazy take from Portnoy lol. Those two are some of the best produced albums of the 90s

Happy Portnoy is back. Upset as to how Mangini was dismissed. So sad....

First time on the channel - this was great and a lot of fun with the wheel! Now that I'm here, I thought I'd tell you a funny story. I first heard of Dream Theater when I saw the video for Pull Me Under on Headbangers Ball when it came out. I was so excited about this new sound and this new band and how hard that song was that I went out and bought the cassette of Images And Words, and I couldn't wait to hear more of what this killer new band sounded like! I had a bunch of my metalhead friends over, and we sat down in the living room to listen to the whole album together for the first time. Pull Me Under kicks it off. Everybody's just stoked on it. And then... Another Day comes on and the embarrassment on my face when I had to explain why Kenny G (cause duh it sounded like him so of course my friends thought that) was on a metal album - the mortified feeling I had was so intense that I didn't listen to Dream Theater again or play that album all the way through until the late 2000s. True story!

Thanks for checking it out. Funny story. But opposite for me. I loved that a metal band used a sax on a song. Thought it was so different. 😀

IMO - Adam & Eve started a downward spiral of sameness and the appearance that Roine lost a step. I don't think they have recovered completely.

Roi-- Thanks so much for the interview with Neal about this latest adventure with The Resonance! We've all been (patiently..maybe not. lol) waiting for any news regarding the players, music, etc. Been really enjoying the lead 'single' -- great song! And it's encouraging to hear your comments on the entire album...bring on Nov. 8th (preorder firmly in place!!). Thanks for all you do on your channel as well-- very enjoyable. Cheers and keep up the great work..regards, T

Neal is such a unique talent. Seemingly endless creativity and energy, but no ego. Comes across as genuinely humble and compassionate. Can't wait to hear this whole album. Great interview.

Prog fan for 45 years Neal is my favourite for the last 25 years amazing output of quality music and he never forgets that the tune is the thing . A lot of newer Prog bands think that four chords round and round equates to Comfortably Numb. Heads up IT DOES NOT.

Another great wheel of prog ! Was hoping for some more talk on the musicians, especially the drummers they've had which have made the albums slightly different And yeah when you look at how many music minutes total the albums have... how the hell they remember it all live!🤯

I'm not particularly a big fan of most of them, specially when there's added instrumentation or different keyboard sounds/tones. A few good moments for sure with improved audio, but overall it was disappointing to me.

The 3 D tier albums were my main introduction to this band. I just felt "blah" and didn't look any further. Thanks so much for this session as I just checked out Unfold The Future and, WOW!, what a remarkable difference in quality. I love it and will definitely check out the rest of the discography.

This will be a good one because I am not all knowing of all things Flower Kings, but they are great from what I have checked out! It is fun to do bands that you know very well (Devin Townsend for example for me) and argue about (Ocean Machine is NOT C), but this is great to help one explore and figure out where to go with them.
