The camera man doesn't love the drummer. Ugh the drum solo 🔥💯 Please let the bassist just play bass. Let someone sing in band. No hate to the bassist. He's also an amazing bassist but i dont like him singing that way
@Zak635 жыл бұрын
congratulations to the video editor not understanding that Felix is doing a drum solo is not easy

...amazing performance...!!! Georgy Porgy is one of my all-time-favorite-songs and you did all an impressive job with YOUR version...

the vocalist destroyed the guitarist moment when he the sang solo line. i think hes full of adrenalin that he overplayed. as always, less is better
@TheSubconsciousness2 жыл бұрын
Do you even know what you're talking about? Do you mean the part before the guitar solo? That was mostly arranged like this... so nothing "destroyed"... And that statement about "overplayed" and adrinalin? 😅 I also have to keep trying just listen and enjoy music and not making my assumption about what's musicians are thinking and feeling... 😉 And the bass solo was extremely smooth, definitely not "overplayed"
@andrewkeen31292 жыл бұрын
I have to completely disagree. That was just brilliant the way he helped the guitar solo come in so nicely.

Gone down the Martin/Lehrmann rabbit hole...consummate musicians, and saviors of the pandemic shutdown.

People in the comment section bitching that ''the original by John Mayer is better'',made me cringe. The original song is by the mighty Toto you dimwits,not to mention John Mayer isn't fit to carry Steve Lukather's guitar case.
@deadshot4245 Жыл бұрын
Fact. Jeff Porcaro, David Hungate, Steve Porcaro, David Paich, Steve Lukather, Cheryl Lynn. best version the original one. I could have done a better job on this song on bass and vocals even the guitar parts Toto is my shit man. Jeff is the Groove master. Martin is a far superior guitarist to me im humble but the difference is if we rehearsed and he sang that song that way i would refused to play with him because it butchers the groove and does not serve the song. makes it impossible to play any of the original parts when hes just butchering the timing and delivery of every line. id be so pissed off at him as it looked like martin was

Wow, just seeing how many hating on the bassist singing... ouh, so you can do so much better? Why not ask Martin to join his band then? Maybe you could ask yourself, why he is doing music with this "terrible" singer... Maybe he, as a musician, listens differently...
@deadshot4245 Жыл бұрын
I would do it in the same vibe to serve the original song. Its really really hard to listen to this song when the vocal melody is nowhere correct timing wise then to sing over martin's playing is insulting to such a killer solo. he's phenomenal bassist and singer no joke. I will give credit where credit is due. but he is the type of musician that will fill damn near every space they can and that's frustrating to deal with. If it was my band I would be straight up this might vibe for you but as fans of the original songs you are ruining the listening experience for everyone. This is coming from someone that can play drums, bass, guitar, piano and sing not just a random know it all music fan an actual musician. he would be amazing in a jazzy R&B band but even allow others to express well is key he does allow it so he is aware and confident which is good too though. Double edged sword though. also that vibe of singing ruins the 16th note groove on drums.

These guys rock, no doubt but... maybe... could be the time to explore some serious original material... or am I wrong? It'd be just to jump out the track of the "deluxe cover band" thing...

@etienneleglas50594 жыл бұрын
Ibanez J Coustom with Seymour Duncan pickups, this model isn't produced now apparently. The seems to sound very much like the SD Hyperion pickups of the Miller's signature guitar, but don't have the look of it, I'm not sure for the pickups, maybe those of the stock J custom models at the time.
