i think martins solo from 2:03 was one of the tastiest solos i have ever heard, he just follows the changes so perfectly. Like it was composed for the song already

This is one of my favorite Pat Metheny songs. I never imagined an electric/full band version. So beautiful. Thank you

First off.. Tom Quayle, you are the man. Your attitude and your professionalism is speaking louder than anything else in these videos. Martin Miller, you a bad man on the gitfiddle. Great sounds and tone my friend. Tom you are a kingly beast on the gtar.. two killer guitarists.. and the band.. dang.. wow wow.. this is a dream band.

One of my all time favourite Pat Metheny tunes. I love your version. Just lovely!

I started listened to Pat Metheny's music during 1980's, since the release of the PMG live album "Travels". Since then, his music has accompanied my life and "Travels" is one of my favorite PM tunes. I just listened found this Martin Miller & Tom Quayle rendition of Travels and got blown up! Amazing rendition, you guys play awesomely deep and enjoying every moment of it. This is unlike any other rendition of Travels, so rockin' and soulful! So rockin' that I also feel like I listened Steve Vai playing Travel!

I appreciate very much that you did not want to imitate Pat Metheny, because it is inimitable and the sound he extracts from his guitar is unique. But you have done an extraordinary version that, if Pat has heard it, I'm surely he has loved it. Great job!

So good! Pat Metheny's chord progressions are legendary and this just shows it. Great mix btw and that synth works really well in the back.

I wasn’t sure about how I would feel about this. Heard Martin & Co. do Queen, Stevie Wonder, Pink Floyd, and more Rock stuff! This was really super, guys! Great job! Blessed players with great musical gifts. God bless you all in 2022! Stay healthy!

Thank you guys for another high quality tune. A round of pints on me! So good to see real musicians... so tired of the "music" on the airwaves (though there are some great artists that are famous).. as far as musicianship and virtuosity we have to see it on youtube these days... as a guitarist in my 50s I take heart in this next generation... when I was your age I was going to see the Dregs, or Holdsworth, or Mclaughlin, DiMeola and DeLucia, somewhere in L.A.... ahh yes, the path of our universal force and creation called music links us all...

What... have you listened to Gary Moore the messiah will come again live or many of his other solos, dynamics, volume control, slow and fast and then singing vibrato. These guys just play the typical overly distorted compressed Ibanez lead guitar sound with a few bends, why is it special. Or check out Mateas asato livr improvisations or Andy Timmons. I don't get why this is good, there's nothing to it

Wow, the keyboard player really is in full 70s retro mode, what with the hair and surrounded by organs and synth classics ;) nice that he had some solo time here!

What to add to this wonder? I didn't know there is such a studio. I simply described my favorit names to the searchline and this studio series was dropped up. Why didn't I do it earlier? What was new to me that Martin Miller is a very good singer. I heard him play guitar only so far. They come there together, close their eyes and play so as if they had a common head.

Because it's obnoxious. Travels is a pretty, wistful tune, that evokes the weariness of being on the road. It's (supposed to be) a gentle song. These guys are very skilled players, but they don't have the sensibility for this tune.
