What a guy, worked in the boardroom at paradise, Martin turned round too quick and his elbow caught a cup of tea and spilled over him, he said “don’t worry son I’m freezing anyway” class act! Him and Mjallby, big Mjallby helped me up 4 flights of stairs with all the food for the fans in the lounge! What a team!

As a Rangers fan I've always had massive respect for Martin. Such an aura about him like Clough had. No doubt some of that Clough magic rubbed off on him. I could listen to him talk all day.

For Celtic to secure Martin O’Neill, who’s Leicester side were ridiculously over achieving and he was constantly touted as the man to replace Ferguson at Utd, shows how high his stock was. He was linked with all the bigger jobs in England but came to Celtic. I also remember Guus Hiddink almost getting the job before Desmond stepped in

I loved him and I worked at Paradise in the boardroom, I spoke to him a lot and he was a gentleman. Hurt me when he left, don’t think the reason was 100% true, his wife was ill but all of a sudden it wasn’t long till he was in the Premiership. Maybe I’m wrong, I’ve battled with myself since he left but I still can’t forget! Just seemed wrong. Think it was our marketing dpt came up with that excuse to leave as he was idolised and that was the easy option. Just look at Rodgers when the truth was told, it caused uproar! But a genuine gentleman

Just seeing this interview . Players today have far too much power and spoilt rotten . Agents spoilt the once beautiful game once they got involved as thats then when players began to dictate to managers when it should be vice versa manager rules . As for both Celtic and Rangers ive always said IF in time they were allowed into English premier league they both would in time become Giants in the game as millions would become rolling in and business men from John O'Groats to Lands End would come calling and in Scotland today sadly both are sleeping Giants awaiting for a green light . Quick edit Guy doing the interview 😄 white socks also 🤣some accent to give an interview lmao . Anyhow Hh .
