hi Martin. Hey, live in Maine. I could custom make a green plaid flannel shirt for you. (or red).. my husband loves his.

That would be cool! Maybe we could set up sales through here. A real Northwoodsman1 shirt!!

I would be interested if you wanted to do it. I do not want anything from it so the price would be wages for you, material and shipping. I suppose wool is out of the question?

Rain on a tin roof of a rustic cabin is like therapy. Throw in a good breakfast, great coffee and a nice fire in the woodstove and you are all set. These videos bring back the purity of how simple life is supposed to be. I think I'll stoke the woodstove up and grab that cup of coffee now.

Fresh coffee and being in the woods in that cabin could put most psychiatrists out of business. My Dad used to say that joke about "it won't be long now", he's gone 24 years and I still miss his company.

My favorite picture is the last one on this video with you sitting at the fire and the lit up cabin. I know how much you love it there. It’s perfect. The only thing missing is your lovely wife. So peaceful. Today was a sad day for me. My gramps(hubby) 91 has COVID. His vitals seems to be ok. They sent him to the hospital today to be checked out from head to toe.I just got the news he’s on the way back here to our assisted living. While I had to have a second procedure done on my back. Old age isn’t for sissy’s. So enjoy every minute you can on what you enjoy. Granny fan

When my brothers and I were children in Arizona my folks rented a cabin on a lake near Prescott that had a tin roof. My mother had always said there was no sweeter sound than rain on a tin roof, and that night it rained. She was right. It remains one of our fondest memories. There is something wonderfully cozy and snug and safe about a log cabin with a tin roof in the rain. :)

Martin when all the grocery shortages were happening here back in March I took the leap and canned up some milk from directions of some off grid ppl. Shelf stable for emergency uses. Funny how the rain on the cabin roof, and the view out your door brought me back my youth while living in the Upper Peninsula Of Michigan. Many folks my family knew either lived in Cedar Log homes or Cabins they built themselves or their forefathers. I can remember the unique smell of musty wet wood and listening to the rain on the roof while hanging around homes, and old shacks and barns. Great memories. A unique experience probably I’ve only felt in the North Woods.

That is so funny with the shoes!! I didn't see it first time I watched it then was reading comments & saw the ghost shoes comment so went back & watched again. Of course i always watch & rewatch Martin & Vonnie videos over & over!! Martin reminds me of my dad's siblings especially the youngest man. He was so funny & usually have a joke or prank(safe ones) when we went home to little town Siloam springs in NW corner of Arkansas. Loved Arkansas-trees,creeks & rivers, rocks & hills,& can grow everything, the good fragrance of country! Besides my uncles, aunts, grandma & grandpa were there!!
