Never knew about this. Funny show and great to see Jan Hooks alongside SCTV alumni Martin Short and Andera Martin. They worked well together. Back when the networks would occasionally air quality shows. Mainstream network TV has been a comedy wasteland for over a generation now.

Mr. Short's spoof of Liz Taylor is spot on for that period when she was involved with the construction worker whom she'd met in rehab. Voice, look .... it's perfect.

Wikipedia says 8 episodes were made and 5 never aired. Strange that The Dana Carvey show from the same mid-90s time period has gotten many rereleases that got its 8th and unaired episode out there, but it seems like The Martin Short Show remains in the vault.

True, but he's doing a show now with Steve Martin, Only Murders in the Building and that's doing well and he's getting nominated for Emmys, he deserves more appreciation for his work.
