Thx! I don’t care about the Guitar, at least I can hear the drums/snare better than in the original 😁 tried hard to find out what the snare pattern is, this version helps!

YES, I approached listening to this with a totally open mind. There are both BETTER and WORSE attributes to the original. The DRUMS stay quite true to the original, but you can REALLY hear those Ghost SNARE taps.. The Guitars sound pretty newly restrung, very nice tone, but that leaves an imbalance with the old "SIGNATURE BASS SOUND", which is such a beautiful "3rd harmony part" with the 2 guitars. It's ALMOST there, but it needs more OVERDRIVE and GRUNT to match the more prominent sound of everything else. I love the HAMMOND-esque guitar lines here and there. One thing that does it injustice is the overuse of vocal doubling, which frequency bandwidth is already taken over by the High Mids on the guitars (which sound great), and even though the vocal takes are better than the original. Basically, what I'm getting at is : The PERFORMANCE is excellent, but again, it's a matter of BALANCE. If only the BASS matched the presence and DRIVE of the original. I still love listening to this. especially side-chaining against the original. THAT is an interesting but time-consuming thing to do!!
