Martin, you can make some awesome dog toys from those socks. Put a loose knot in the middle of one, thread another through the loop till halfway through then tighten the loop by pulling. Then put one rolled up sock inside another and put a knot in it at the end where the rolled sock is, voila, free doggo toys your dogs will love!

You know all those lost socks come back as plastic containers without a lid or a plastic lid with no matching container...that's what happens at my house....seems dishwashers are just as dangerous as clothes washers. When my kids were younger we would do an occasional craft day and turn odd socks into hand puppets.
