The area around the bridge is stunningly beautiful and well worth visiting having been there many times. You have certainly captured this iconic bridge and a crossing train in this short video. Well done Martin

Thanks Chris. Unfortunately I didn't give myself enough time to walk across it or investigate further, as I'd already done the Talyllyn and Fairbourne railways that day and was facing the second 150 mile drive of the day back home. I must get back there again some time!

Love Barmouth. My husband and I were in Barmouth on that day,. Late sunshine, got a picture of my husband in the sea about 8 in the evening,

Same day? What a coincidence. It was my first trip to that area - I had been to Tywyn for a ride on the Talyllyn, then up to Fairbourne to ride the railway there, finally ending the day at Barmouth. I'd have loved to stay longer and walk the bridge, but I had to get back home to Nottingham that same day. What a distance for a day trip, I must be mad!"

@@martinedwards999 if you get a chance to go back after the lockdown a walk over the bridge is well worth it. We have done it numerous times when our children were younger, and now on our own. Fantastic views hopefully we will be back in August we have a holiday booked in Beddgelert. Hope to take our two grandchildren over the bridge. The Fairbourne railway is great. If you get a chance try the llanberis lake railway and the Welsh Highland railway, fantastic views of snowdon.
