Fascinating! I’ve been watching these videos and have recently played the best two rounds of golf ever. The feet are the base and the club head is the apex! The structure folded over is the swing. The feet are connected to the club head through the legs, torso, arms, wrists and hands.

It’s impossible to “unsee” the framework of feet to clubhead. As you learn what it means about the golf swing.

Martin, I think I've watched just about all of your videos, some 2-3 times, because with each viewing, I pick up a little nugget that I may have missed or just didn't understand the first go round. However, I have not watched them in any certain order. To understand better your concept of the golf swing, which I'm fascinated with, what order do your recommend viewing your videos? Thanks for sharing your novel theory on the golf swing. I can see that you've put your heart and soul into it!

Just view them in order. I did the work and laid it down. The fact that you keep getting more from it is the work you’ve done. The more you do… the more you’ll keep getting out of it 👍🏻

I can see why Ernest Jones made a fortune in the 1920's to 1960's because he explained similar principle much more simply. Don't get me wrong there are some very interesting elements such a handle moving first and inside very much as the Steve Elkington and Jackie Burke Jnr video's suggest but I find Martin's explanation a tad complicated. In saying that I am getting positive pointers out of Martin's videos's.

I think the key is we must find a way to really SWING the clubhead back as opposed to moving it to positions, then letting the free flowing swing take over.

Watched this again…so if the club head is the apex would it stand to reason that you are always underneath the club head even when the “line” is folded over and the apex/club is below “you”/your shoulders?
@MartinAyersGolf2 жыл бұрын
It's best to perceive it as that way yes. You want the ball, the start line and the "apex" to be perceived as above you. A new horizon if you like.

for anyone new to this series. IMO you need to watch, absorb. Try to apply. then re-watch after a period. I am seeing more depth to the explanation on re-watching.

If I can start the club swinging away from me with right sequence and then don’t fight the club this should result in the correct motion through the ball …… agreed!

Hello. Martin. Are you still doing “lap of the feet”? I registered Northbound golf web site 2 years ago. And i learned many things. and then the lap of the feet is super great for my golf swing. I wonder some update of “lap of the feet”

Only one problem your apex is upside down mate turn A to V 45 angle golden Key...... Hense Vardon triangle.
@MartinAyersGolf Жыл бұрын
Wrong. It's not upside down its folded over. You're welcome.

@@MartinAyersGolf if its a A it's out in front then? Surely folded or not the #45

interesting concept or thought model. i guess problem happens when this model creates a shape that doesn't work well.
@MartinAyersGolf2 жыл бұрын
The crucial part there is that it wouldn't be the shape that didn't work. So don't go trying to "fix" the shape. Cheers.
